Mastery rank XP leveling question

does leveling guns proficiency grant any mastery XP or just when you hit max proficiency ?


so far the best XP for mastery was from special operations horde missions

anyone know of any mastery xp farms ? ty

you get mastery by leveling up descendants and weapons yeah, you can also reset levels with the crystal.
for wave defense i personally use the swamp one.

farm the kuiper mission everyones farms. even though you dont get that much mastery xp, the spam makes it add up

Anyone know if the rumor of having the same weapon equiped in all 3 slots increase the xp gained is true

mastery rank level up.

descendant level up = most mastery xp.

weapon proficiency = medium mastery xp.

everything else = low mastery xp.

use different descendants and all the guns to level 40 while farming albion, you dont have to keep the trash guns, just use them for the xp grind.

and last but not least, you only get XP for gear and chars ONCE.
so leveling them again is useless in terms of mastery XP

So you get mastery as your leveling any descendant OR weapon to level 40, "FOR THE FIRST TIME ONLY". As soon as you hit level 40, or use one of those reset/runeslot items to go back to level 1 you no longer gain mastery xp at all from it, and need to either swap weapons, or the decendant to gain mastery xp again.

It's how the game forc... err convinces you to buy stuff in the cash shop to keep progressing.

? store has actualy nothing to do with it tho ...
u also dont gain all that much beyond 20
and theres totaly 0 need for the store to have any involvement so not sure why you would even bring that up

yes u can buy descendants but totaly not needed
u cant buy weapons anyways and u wil have plenty of time to lvl those and get descendants the same way as other ult weapons u have to farm them anyways

grabbed this somewhere from reddit dno if its accurate but seems pretty good

Decendent MR:

19 Decendents: 49,680 x19 - (943,920)

Weapon MR:

11 Blue Guns: 9840 x11 - (108,240) 42 Purple Guns: 18,690 x42 - (784,980) 21 Golden Guns: 28,440 x21 - (597,240)

as for mastery exp from missions normal and hard seperately u can check the map for wich ones stil give mastery exp its not a big amount but doing them all wil stack up tho its not as much as a descendant prolly not even an ult weapon :D

You only get MR exp the first time you take a gun/descendant from 1 to 40

Using a crystal and levelling them to 40 again gives ZERO Mastery Rank exp, which means there's a hard limit on how much MR exp you can earn in the game right now, and right now it's somewhere beyond MR 26 (like 200k into MR 26 iirc)

So basically if you want to level MR quick, level every unique gun to 40, normal descendants and their ultimate versions count as separate entities so level all of those too

for mastery farms
honestly best ones i would say
any gold/kuiper farms are oke

however if you want speed the bunny cave farm (fortress-fallen ark-void mission)
with either a good large aoe bunny or more people to instantly wipe the 2 spawn locations wil do wel

theres a similair farm for viessa (fortress-frozen valley- void mission) with some cd and duration and viessia's preferably 3 1 at the mission stone 2 to aoe down spawns can also easily insta wipe everything

and my personal favorite just need a decent large aoe bunny or hope for good bunnies on the team
(Sterrile land - classified area - Block Kuiper mining ) can be started from albion aswel

i did it myself as bunny :D but leveling other chars there you wil probably rely on your team mates
