Yes it does, since especially operator is not different mission types you can just ignore.
And then you have to upgrade focus schools to get benefits which is also very inconvinient when you just want to play as warframe 100% of time and not some kiddie character.
And yes we can't predict future, it's possible tfd will go down that route one day and that's when i hop on to play something else if it feels as detracting from core gameplay as it does in warframe.
Lets see, a couple story missions, eidolon hunts and some kuva liches. Very specific to be as intrusive as you're letting on.
Well let's say i want to do eidolon hunts... how badly i get gimped if i have invested zero in focus schools and won't swap to operator for even a second?
If answer is anything but "not even a little bit gimped" i rest my case.
Also just figured out another thing warframe lacks, loot drops. You won't find different weapons...everything is gotta be crafted.
Indeed, its a want. Not something mandatory, you can just ignore it and do the thing you want to do. And isn't your not wanting to interact with operators more or less based on a lack of understanding that you are unwilling to invest in acquiring?
It's the fact that i signed to play as a warframe, not having to switch for child character ocasionally to use extra powers. It is not the core gameplay loop i want.
Imagine playing a Nexon game in 2024. You guys deserve to get scammed with that ingame shop and drop rates"
This guy is probably on his 15th coof booster shot.
Well i'm old school diablo fan, i prefer random stat loot than just collecting mats to craft other type of weapons.
Which you do 95% of the time. 99% if you choose not to do their specific activities. At which point doesn't it become rather petty? Like not deciding to eat at a restaurant because they serve a dish you don't like even whilst you can order exactly what you want.
Except that's not really what you are doing, as this stat loot... its all useless compared to the crafted ones.
