Farming any ultimate character is miserable as hell

I spent 90 hours into the game already, i love the game I have free time rn so i could play a lot. All i wanted was to farm an ultimate and build the ♥♥♥♥ out of it so i can farm other stuff with him/her. However it's incredibly miserable to farm their blueprints, I need to do so many different things and i hate it.

You do 5 minute mark event, which can be reset by teleporting in and out. It's already time consuming to do this and it has only 20% chance to obtain the amp fragment.

Then you search for the void shards needed to summon the boss. You find where to farm the shards, change your char according to the element then you go there. You start farming but boss needs 30+ a shard and 10+ other shard. You farm like 3-4 times for one boss.

Then you switch back to your boss character, go to the void boss summon platform and summon the boss. Mind you some of them actually hard af while some of them very easy to kill. Then you break open the fragment for 6% chance of obtaining your target.

Then switch back to your comfortable character than can clear 5minute mark event again, and repeat everything.

You do so many different stuff for a 6% chance it's insane. I rather just spam a hard mode dungeon for 3% chance instead of doing all these. It's just tiring to farm it. Especially if you are very unlucky with drops.

Am I wrong here? I feel like they just did this just to make people buy the ultimate versions instead.

WILL many people actually do it? Probably not.

Yeah i think the play here is choose one normal character, use an energy activator, then use many module capacity mod called cata or smth. Build the ♥♥♥♥ out of it, then since you'll be so powerful, you can do everything slowly. I think ill just use all catas on regular bunny then farm other ♥♥♥♥ when i feel like it. Focusing on one ultimate and not boosting any character during this process sucks. Feels like you stuck at the same place.

Anyhow i think ill just try once human in few hours, if i like it more i think ill play that game instead and wait for tfd to do some changes about the game.

well 1 they want you to pay for it so of course its easier to pay for but 2 i think its just how you're looking at it. The 3% hard mode dungeon spam is the same thing as spamming the other ones except it has variety. On paper thats a good thing but obviously as you said it can be a bit tiring because you're constantly changing. I think its intended to be broken up. For example no one is going to farm an ult in 1 day, well maybe someone will get lucky af but the point is its supposed to be something you're grinding continuously inbetween other things. I know thats not helpful to your situation but maybe it will be if you think about it as in its just a different flavor of 3% dnungeon spam

What you say is very true, like i said on my second msg i think it's better to focus on a regular character first and upgrade them with cata, the char will be very powerful, then farming for ults time to time is the play here.

Some of you never farmed early Primes in Warframe before trading was allowed. It shows. My Frost Prime and the Latron rifle to go with it took forever. But when I finally got the farm done it was WELL worth the time invested. N dimes invested at all. Then again, I understand drop rates aren't poker odds.

Well yeah, that's kind of the point. Make it as horrendous as possible to get or do something, and provide an option to pay to get it immediately. Called the "creating a problem, and selling the solution". Not much we can do really.
