Consistent "Two FPS drops 1 second apart", then game runs fine for around an hour or so

Im having a consistent "Two FPS drops 1 second apart", then game runs fine for around an hour or so.

In detail, the game loads fine, and I have it capped at 60 FPS with Rivatuner. I maintain 60 FPS until (it happens, see topic).

I'll be playing and then, the screen action will completely FREEZE for 1 second, then unfreeze for 1 second, then FREEZE again for 1 second, then go back to 60 FPS and be fine for about another hour or so. Then out of the blue, it will do the same thing. ALWAYS 2 freezes with a 1 second release of the freeze, then back to normal.

This is not a PC hardware issue, because of the consistency of how this happens. My thought is that it could be:

1) Anti-Cheat scanning the memory
2) Server Network connection packet issue halting Local Client
3) Memory management Garbage Collection of some type too aggressive

Anyway, is it just me? I know a lot of threads are having"FPS Drops", but not in the manner of how mine are happening with the exact repeatable pattern.

Everyone has this, kickass setups, best on the market. They still have this. We dont have a solution.

Bunch of friends that have a new setup and me with an old card are all having this issue, it's this exact same pattern. Game runs absolutely fine most of the time, but then the first freeze kicks in and we're like "oh, wait, I'm getting another one after".
So far it's been seemingly random for all of us rather than a boss fight starting or a mob of enemies spawning in, etc, so it's definitely not gameplay related.

Yes, same for me. High end system and a 4090. The double stutter isn't bad enough to kill you in a fight and you sort of get used to it. But is is certainly annoying when it happens.
I'm not playing this game anymore until there is Matchmaking in Hard mode. So hopefully they will have this fixed by then too...

OK, I'm trying to fix this. I did TWO things, which may have been a mistake since you should only change 1 thing at a time when troubleshooting, but anyway...

a) Uninstalled the game, manually cleaned up the leftover files and registry edits, optimized the Storage Drive (cleanup) and then REINSTALLED fresh.

b) Noticed I had a plugged in Game Controller that I was not using... (gulp). Possible the system was putting the controller into standby or something. I unplugged it.

Lets see if the 2 FPS drop happens, Ill come back and post on this if it does.

Same here. Doesn't even matter what you're doing. Can happen during inventory management.

even if i open up mailbox my fps goes from 120 to 3 fps.

I don't think this is something we can fix from our end, but I commend you for trying, you never know!
I'd suggest editing the main post to show what didn't help (after you finish testing ofc)

fair i just think its funny its literally every time. A few of the times it was the same driver and bios ♥♥♥♥ that 400 other people solved by updating and they were crying about how its not their pc (but it was) anyways good luck with it i dont have it happen so I can't really give any perspective on what it could be unforch.
