Whats the endgame?
So from what I can see and have read - the extent of the endgame is hard-mode bosses (which you can not queue for, which I think is fine because i like the idea of group forming rather than just jumping in with random idiots) Anyway, my actual question/concern is about endgame raiding. Will there not be any actual structured progressive raids? Seems like its a weird in-between of a solo grinding game that kinda wants to be a group based game. I played Destiny/Destiny2 long ago and was hoping this would have that element of lenthy multi boss raiding, but its not looking like it can go in that direction with the lack of gear slots (which i think is a terrible character structure to begin with...

TLDR - will there be any sort of formal raiding, aside from just farming the same queue engaged bosses over and over? Also, thoughts on lack of gear/armor slots...?

same endgame as every other looter shooter grinder.

You "CAN" queue for hardmode intercept boss battles. It's not a good idea... because your average 80 IQ player isn't ready for those. But you can.

But you do need a pre-made for hard dungeons as there is no match-making for it. Which is a dumb mistake by the devs, as those are actually totally doable with random idiots. Difficult with randos, but doable.

No, when i think of endgame i think of Dentiny 2 - Lenthy boss fights with phases/mechanics. This seems like the same 3 dungeons that all look identical, or the other option of a single boss fight that is just one big burn phase. nothing really to any of it, no learning curve or strategy required.. thats my concern

The endgame is literally complaining about hard mode pugs.

The endgame is credit card.

They are bringing match finder to hard mode wait for next fix to grind hard or go at it alone then wait for next content update

In the end, every looting game mostly consists of farming, once you've done all the missions. That's usually where you're facing the decision to pause for a while to wait for a new season, event or content or to grind some stuff you've yet not found from the current content. It just takes a littlebit to add enough gameplay to have diverse options to take from. Even Warframe wasn't as big as it is today when it launched back in the day.

So just make a pause every now and then, that's pretty much what most people did in Warframe as which is the reason why it's still as popular as it is, but somehow some TFD-players seem to expect, that a burnout through constantly playing this game is more desirable than just stepping a month or two away from the game when it starts to become a chore.

Since this is a life service game, new content in forms of maps, missions, chars and more ways to optimize your chars can be expected.

What do you mean by armor slots? If you refer to something like equipable armor that grant defensive stats, that where character modules as well as reactors and such come into play, they're just called differently.

And if you refer to saving presets, you can do that already with the button below the weapons.
make number go bigger the same end game of every mmo on the planet

Endgame is speedrunning most proficient mission, or mission that drop/hatch "eggs". Which is insanely boring and insanely annoying to hear over and over and over same mission info.

Right now, one of the endgame things I see is the farming of the reactors for that perfect build for various descendants. Have you come across that overwhelming "spreadsheet" in the game? Basically those reactors have specific stats in specific locations that rotate. Also, after playing through the story, and listening to dialogs and watching cutscenes (I love lore), seems there is a lot more to come

there is no endgame, a competitive style with something like leaderboards or guilds or time trials or something like destiny 2 raids would be good. but lets be real, its nexon we talkin about. remember, PVP does not need to exist for competition to exist. and hard mode is easy af, just use forma on ur weapons and energizers, 400k DPS for the win

SPOILER ALERT. DO NOT read from here unless you finished the main story. To add to my comment, it seems some of the real endgame bosses are yet to come. For example, we never got to fight Karel, and also, I think some of the Magisters on the council are going to turn on us based on the choices made with the iron heart being destroyed.

The Magisters wanted the iron heart, not have it destroyed. That was the agreement between humanity and the Magisters. Some of the magisters like Anais is cool with us, but the others (which we haven't encountered yet), who knows what will happen..
