Ive noticed this with several games after the last driver update. I was replaying Far Cry 1 a few days ago and the Recordings stopped at certain instances, for example when the games engine starts with the typical intro movies, so when i plays those then jumps to the main menu it just kicks it out because there was a resolution recheck or change.
OR when in game and you start, its like its identifying the Shadow Play as a second monitor and does a resolution check which it kicks it out resulting in stopping the recording, but it start up and records like normal again.
Uninstall GeForce Experience.
End any process under task manager's details tab starting with NVIDIA.
Navigate to /users/AppData and delete all NVIDIA or NVIDIA Corporation folders excluding Roaming's.
Restart, reinstall and you should be fine.
Found it here, if it helps.

Wow surprised I forgot about the simplest of problems. Good catch.
Could just use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and have that do everything for you. Its actually recommended to use by practically every IT Department in every corporate business and Game Developers before attempting to install a new driver. It will remove all associated folders and remnant files.
Installing a new driver on top of an older driver over and over, will cause driver corruption issues because none of them fully wipe the folder and leave remnant files which causes glitches and even Driver Kernel CTD's, very rarely BSOD's.
