Linking account questions - for cross play.

I've been playing this game on my Xbox through my Xbox account and got a high level character. Now I really want to continue my progress on PC through Steam.

In game on my Xbox I linked my Xbox and Steam account to the new Nexon account but upon logging in, I was shown the beginning as if I play it for the first time.

Anyone know how to properly link this so I don't loose the progress I already made on the Xbox?


Googling shows me how to link it from the web but all I got were those script error and nothing linked

i dunno if it will cross save over to pc, but it is possible that it may take time for it to sync,

when they switched to just nexon accounts instead of FB and gmail etc. it took like 30 minutes before I saw my stuff back.

but in this case dont know if it even does cross play save.

although I don't see why it wouldn't

just dont create anything, maybe wait for a day or two and then check again.

If you link your Steam account, once you try to play again all your progress will be gone, luckily once you unlink your steam account then your xbox progress will be back. It seems that the way to use cross saves is to link both platforms before starting any progress so they can be in sync since the beginning.

This is something they need to fix because it seems right now you can’t use cross saves unless you’re willing to lose all progress from the main account.

Has this been fixed? I'm on PlayStation 5 and want to be able to play on Steamdeck, or at least spend from my steam wallet on the game.

Unlink everything in reverse order to restore...

As for first time linking, the order of how you do it is important, start from the main in-game (Xbox version in the Opening poster case) menu and link to a brand new nexon account(This is important.)

this dont work. once u link it starts you over and unlinking dont fix anything you just lose your stuff for free

The way I did it and didnt lose any progress when i started in PS5. On day 1 I got to about level 10 on my first character then went to link.

- Played on PS5.
- Went to Steam, Downloaded the game.
- Launched the game then exited.
- Went to Nexon.
- Created my account.
- Linked my PS5 account first.
- Then linked Twitch, then Steam, then Xbox.
- Launch TFD on Steam again.
- Went to Options > Account Tab
- Link Account Section and verified it was linked.

Started playing and no progress was lost.

Now i dont know what the deal is with some people not getting synced, it doesnt seem to come up often enough to be a wide spread issue, but it is an issue for some.

Most likely they have a lot of extensions that blocks ADs or scripts. That mess up the website code. Another reason is they are faking it or they did it in an abnormal way, after all there are people trying to cheat/hack the cash shop as evidence by the bans..

I always asked the exact steps they go about linking, either there's crickets (no replies) or they just jumped into "it doesn't work" end. It's as bad as people just saying game don't start while hiding the fact they are trying to run it on linux or a toaster...

Now, I generally ignore them.

There is a "bug" where you cannot use any Nexon account that's registered outside of the game. Otherwise the only way for this to work is to link your accounts before you start playing the game.

If you have already started playing, you'll need to have a new email handy which is not registered with Nexon.

- Make sure any existing accounts have all linking disabled
- Log out of your Nexon account in your web browsers (important)
- Start the game, and at the title screen, select options (or it can be done in game)
- Choose to link your account, and you'll be forwarded to the Nexon login screen
- Enter your new, unregistered email
- Confirm your email

At this point your new Nexon account will take your existing save game as the main data. Good luck!

I ended up making a new Nexxon account when I wanted to link everything. I first started playing on the XSX and then wanted to link Steam and PS5 to it. When I linked everything together I lost my progress until I unlinked it. I then created a new account on Nexxon and used that one when I linked everything successfully. Not sure why I had to do it that way but it worked for me.
