but yeah, the "forma" in TFD is overpriced in the shop and the craft takes too many materials !!!
Warframe is a game with a cash shop, and player trading. It's superior in every possible aspect.
It's not as expensive as you say it is... in Warframe.
You are basing your calculations on the smallest platinum bundle AND without discount.
A more accurate assessment would be lets say the 1000 platinum bundle with a coupon for 75% discount(yes DE, unlike Nexon, do that quite often as part of their daily login system). You will essentially get 1000 platinum for € 11.25. When buying the 3 forma bundle which is 35 platinum you will be able to get 1000 / 35 = 28 packs + 20 remaining for one more forma or that's - 28*3 + 1 = 85 forma. Remember you paid € 11.25 ? So that's € 11.25 / 85 = ~ € 0.13 per forma.
And yes you can get an even better deal if you buy the biggest pack which is 4300 platinum with the 75% discount coupon. You are essentially double dipping on getting an innate value of buying the bigger pack AND the bigger the price of that pack is the more you save with the discount, obviously. And you also get some mods but who even cares about that xD
NEXON, take notes xD
Catalyst and forma prices didn't change.
So to answer your quesiton - yes. I believe 2013 was still a clsoed beta only.
Btw, I'm a little triggered there. IT IS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NEXON. It is not an indie company which could make a mistake or not be good enough. Everything you see in TFD is on purpose and the prices are set by professional money milkers.
Matching an Aura will get you 14/18 extra.
Descendants get significantly more baseline capacity in addition to the sub weapon mod also giving 10 (non matched slot) extra.
Currently at MR9 and i get 59 capacity. Still have 11 more capacity to unlock via MR (IIRC, it caps at MR20. Not online currently to double check that)
Meaning that a Descendant with no Activator at MR20 will have more baseline Capacity than a Warframe WITH a potato installed.
That's quite relevant because mods have a comparable capacity cost between games.
The EAs are still prohibitively expensive and should not be, but at the same time, they are not nearly required as much as a Warframe needs a potato to get a functional build going.
Doesn't justify the pricing on them at all, but you shouldn't feel hamstrung for not applying one.
