instantly porting to mission starter

Ok, so the grind is real. I get it, but after a mission, you have to run back to the starter to restart said mission, tedious, but part of the game. Right?
I ask because I was just grinding for one of the modules and someone joined me. After the mission they did an emote similar to what many of us have with the flame before porting. But this was different. This one used the hand up in the air, dropped leaves down and then instantly ported, not to the green portal, but to the beginning of the mission starter.
Question is: is this a hack? or is this something real because it would save me a lot of time.
If it is something legit, can someone explain to me how it works so I can do it too?

you can restart missions from the mission result screen. maybe this is what you are referring to.

When the mission is done u can open the mission summary and then restart from that window^^

Bring up the mission results screen, you should see the prompt on your screen at the end of a mission. Then on that screen, you will see a button that says restart mission or something similar. Select that, and it will automatically teleport you back to the starting point.
