Bad lag spike every hour or so

Is anyone else having this “issue” where like the title says I get a very bad lag spike I have a very good system 7800x3d 4080 I also play on max setting cause max or low I cap at 120 and it’s stable all the way till it spikes then back to normal idk if this is server related or my pc

I have the same problem.

It happens exactly every 59 minutes.

For a while I always looked at the clock. I have two short lags one after the other.
Because of the regularity, I initially suspected a local problem. Something like a virus scanner or something that looks at the hard drive every 59 minutes.

But now I'm irritated that so many people have the same problem. Hence the assumption that it comes from the game.

Get the same thing, 5950x, EVGA 3090ti , I'm glad people are talking about it, it's not game breaking, but hopefully the know about it and are working on it.
Edit, game never crashed, just get those regular double stutters.

I have the exact same problem so it's a optimisation problem that will hopefully be fixed with this update.

It is because of Unreal Engine 5 those stutter's happen, they don't call the UE, Stutter Engine for no reason lol.

Mostly the game plays fine for me except for this very issue. I was presuming it was V-RAM related as I'm limited to 8GB on the 4060ti, but if it's happening on a 4080 that can't be the case. Good news I guess as it's something that will likely be patched.

I got only this performance issue. Ahhh 1 time just the game closed itself and i looking at the desktop. Was wirde, but in the 80 hours playtime happend once.

I also got 1 ctd out of the blue in all my playtime. My main issue with this game are the 2 freeze frame spikes with 1 normal frame between them every hour or less. it happens even if i idle in albion.

Yep. Actualy ALWAYS 2 spikes in row with like 1 frame between them.

Same here, (4070 Ti, 12900KS) 2 Lag-Freezes in a row after a While. Sometimes in the Middle of an important Battle.

I wonder if it's got something to do with connectivity? When our broadband goes down the game literally freezes for a while before giving a notification screen.

same problem after an hour of playing big lag spike of complete freeze for a second twice in a row then all good again.

What FIXED this for me + other friend. Was taking Nvidia reflex OFF ! Try that bois. Done same in battlefield 2142 for me

Same problem for me, changed GPU driver and set BIOS to "non OC settings" without success.

Game settings on ultra high 1440p with DLSS balanced.

All drivers/BIOS and Windows 11 up-to-date!
No thermal issue, CPU & GPU cooled by a MO-RA 420 and all temps perfect.
