Linking Account - lost progress

So... I never had an Nexon Account and played on Steam for the beta and now since the release.

I never actually linked "a account".

So I was still waiting for my Twitch Drops, which were linked to a nexon account (I never had one) i tried to link it to steam but it failed 5 times, but in the end I could claim the Drops.

Those drops didnt show up yet and I checked the settings on the Account tab and there was "No linked accounts" stated. But I Could delink an accound, so I clicked on it.

Went to the homescreen again and had to create a new character. So all my Steam Progression is gone now?
I tried to google stuff, but all they had is something with already existing accounts - which to this point - I never had.

Doesnt have Steam any Data stored to get my progression back?

And yes, I restarted the game like 5 times.

And yes I already opened a ticket, but I dont think that they gonna answer me after finding out how bad their support is.

Probably yes. I lost 154 hour of progression, mastery rank 14, my ultimate bunny which had catalysts and energy stuff as im bought the ultimate bunny bundle and over that, 200 more euro. Everything lost with all of the progress and unlinking dont help any.
So i CANT recommend to link any account anywhere.

i have just linked my stream acc to Nexon,
and then i unlinked it agian. i got back to home home screen
and no on my stream acc it say i don't have any progress now.. on my steam

I had this problem as well. To fix it, log into your Nexon account and unlink everything. Then make a new Nexon account on their website. Next, boot up the game with Steam and your progress should be back. In the game, go to Options>Account and there is an option to Link your Nexon account. Link to your new Nexon account. Everything should be all good now, you can link to any platform and progress will be shared. That's how I got Cross-Save to work.

but i was think let me try to link it agian. and it help

I had the same issue, linked twitch drops and steam but never had an account. Unlinked my account on steam and lost all progress. Making a new nexon account and linking my steam to it brought back all my stuff. Thanks for the help.

Thats sounds unbelievable. Makes a new account, that have nothing, no progress at all, no data and no anything. And you linked to a fully empty account, and you get back your old account stuff? Where is the trick? Programs and coding not working this way.

Weird, I linked my account after 90+ hours of playtime, and I had no issue whatsoever.
Did you do it via the website or while in-game? I did it while playing

I wanted my twitch drops, so in twitch im tried to linking my steam account but its always told and error. So i was stupid enough to unlink account in the ingame options, account tab and lost everything.
Then created a nexon account, to be able to link it back, clicked on link it, and nothing happened. I got a new member code but not my old "account". Its a fresh new game account, with no progress and what is more important, not with the 300 euro stuff im purchased already.

And no answer for my ticket for 4th day now.

I dont even see the first descendant game on the nexon site. There is more than one nexon company?
Also, unlink my email too? As you told unlink everything.

I linked my PS5 and Steam account , I logged into my PS5 account and now I lost all items legendary Leo if and bunny all my items 90+ hours of grinding all gone ! How can I get all my stuff back! Can anyone help ?

you can't....i do the same thing and i lost everything...characters buy premium outfits season pass all....137 hours in game mastery 17. Hope they will fix this ♥♥♥♥. I am sad but what can i do now?

Some of you have pretty convoluted explanation or excuse. As you link and unlink all over the place and they are done so from different clients, clients being the steam game itself, playstation game, xbox game and then nexon website.

Clearly state all the steps done , starting from client followed by the direction of how you link or delink in the correct timeline order done.

Usually reversing the order should fix it unless you forget something you did like actually have your steam account linked to a nexon account long long time ago for a nexon game you once played. Therefore missing a step, like first recovering that nexon account. Missing link in the chain of your blunder.
