Im at same wall :(
I thing the game explain things very bad. So we don't know what we are doing wrong.
I struggled with Dead Bride a lot, and then Pyromaniac a bit. Multiple failures... even though I completely understood the mechanics and never die after my first 2-3 tries. Sometimes your teammates are playing the boss for the 1st or 2nd time, sometimes it's your 1st or 2nd time, etc. It's a great feeling when you get a team that visibly knows what they're doing, you can just tell you're going to win.
No reason to get so discouraged over a few losses. Just use it as practice runs and get yourself to the point you rarely take damage or get downed. Eventually in this process you'll find yourself on teams with players who're just as savvy and it'll be over before you even know it.
If you feel your build is strong enough and isn't the problem, try it solo, you might actually find it easier.
See the issue is that Destiny is a quality game by quality developers where TFD is a crap game made by cheap mobile phone developers.
Question, why would you use a toxin character, against a toxin boss?
