Some have had more success solo.
Either way, yeah, can be a wall. But it may be a short lived one.
I'm so sick and tied of running around looking for Standard Ammo to drop in a boss fight. It just kills the experience and leaves a very bad taste in your mouth.
same here. It's much easier to kill the healing things alone than with 3 other people that have no idea that they need to kill it lol
Just equip some common mod and upgrade them a little (no much)
in the Beta it was a wall because we were stuck with lvl 35 weapon max (struggling to have more than 25k dps) but now, you wan have a 55-60k dps weapon without mods at this level !
- Are you hitting Colossi weakpoints? Remember you can check them using TAB(or whatever button is assigned to your Ecive button)
- Are you attempting to tear off weakpoints? When a weakpoint is colored gold on the Ecive, you can grapple and attempt to tear it off. Doing so also helps in giving your team DPS while it's downed in your tearing attempt
- Have you tried upping/adding mods to your weps? << THIS IS IMPORTANT
- Have you checked out your own Descendant modules? << THIS IS ALSO IMPORTANT
- Have you upped your reactors/components? Make sure your reactor is the same element as your descendant, and optionally, you'd also fulfill that other sync requirement described on the reactor. << THIS IS ALSO IMPORTANT
- Have you worked on your reactors and components to synchronize with your descendant and playstyle for the situation? << THIS IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS THE THINGS ABOVE.
- Are you currently comfortable with your weapons? Maybe dealing damage from afar is a better option.
- How about tried another descendant, maybe improving your starter?
- Have you upped your mastery? Those gives stats too.
>>TIP: BUNNY IS NOT THE SOLUTION TO EVERYTHING<<
Yea colossi are quite a pain in the butt to deal with, but you can definitely do it after a few tries and with luck on parties.
ie. don't go in fighting Devour with toxic dmg and full fire resistance, tho maybe if you lucky you'll beat it with that while bashing your head against wall.
For me devour was pretty easy no invincibility phase... but than again I read and most people don't read ♥♥♥♥ going in with barely modded gear just swiping off all the tutorials trying to teach them things than they complain and cry how tedious it is or just see people begging for carry through bosses rather then learn what they actually need to do.
So far looks like Pyro is nice filter.
When soloing Devourer with 1800 tox resist I was able to facetank a great deal of his damage even as Bunny. Dodging means downtime, downtime means DPS lost and the prick heals, so that's no good.
Not all weapons are created equal. Some weapon variants have huge DPS lead on other weapons in the same category for some reason. So get yourself one of those and level it up when needed.
Damage drop off at range is massive in this game. You don't really feel it when fighting collosi since their HP bars are massive. But keep it in mind, due to just the sheer size of those bosses you will likely lose a good chunk of your damage.
Also Devourer's scaling is scuffed. He's much easier solo.
