CPU Overheating!
I was required to do a bios update to even play this game in the first place!

CPU hitting max highs of 212F / 100C

Intel Core i7-13700KF

I also tested out some other games and I'm getting the same temperatures that I never got in those games before! So I think it's related to the bios update but I'm not sure and I'm not sure how to fix this! I tried to undervolt the CPU but the game won't work when I do!

Lowering the game settings and also locking the FPS does nothing!

Changing power plans does nothing either all that does is change the clock speeds of the CPU but the temperature stays the same!

EDIT > I can't seem to find anything at all every fix online does nothing but i have found something it's call CPU Over Temp. Protection If I set the temp lower in there I do get really good temp in game but the downside is the CPU clock speeds drop by half! I'm not sure if it's better to have better temperatures but really slow clock speeds or have my whole entire room bacon like a oven but have the best clock speeds! I can't seem to find any other solution and it does not seem like anyone else has a solution either!

Sometimes when you do a bios update it can reset your fan settings in it. Check that first cause i suspect that might be the case if it happened after the update.

sounds like a problem with the bios provider and not with the game though, especially when it happens with other games as well. Rather contact the manufacturer to report that problem.

100C? My goodness you have some heating issues. I would be opening up the PC, dusting it out, and checking your thermal paste.

Hwat? This is advanced stuff. You shouldn't touch these settings if you are asking questions about temperature. Reset Bios again and set Thermal package to 170W, especially if you have air cooling. Problem gone.

Raptor lake was released before the 7800x3d and had another critical advantage of being able to use ddr4 at the time when ddr5 was horribly overpriced and 32gb of ddr5-6000 cost like $400.
