This game is already successful, it has a daily peak of over 250k users on Steam alone and has been sitting in the top sales (despite being F2P) since its launch.
They do actually, if you paid attention to the devblogs... Doesn't mean everything is perfect though.
Maybe, not sure how long it can stay up there with such high numbers. Still if you enjoy the game you can have fun until it stops being fun. And if you don't there are enough alternatives out there for you try.
