Very dissapointed after hitting Hard Mode

I have worked on my main character Freyna for little over 65 hours now. I have leveled her 4 times to 40 to set some glyphs for the mods etc. Same for my main gun.
I unlocked Ajax, Bunny, Freyna, Ultimate Gley and Enzo and grinded my butt off to get the mods and upgrades I wanted. And leveled some other descendants to to boost my Mastery Rank. Was looking forward to going even further in Hard Mode and work on my build and unlocking more descendants.
But sadly, the devs doesn't seem to want you to continue spending money on their game after you played through the story.
Unless you have some friends to play with when you hit Hard mode. You can't do any matchmaking which leaves you soloing the Hard mode bosses or teaming up on the map for missions with random people. All the fun content is blocked off now. So I guess I have to stop playing.
I have spent money in this game and was ready to spend several times that amount in the coming weeks and months. But not when they block your progress like this.

If their reasoning is that you need to communicate with people. Isn't there already voice chat in game? I'm not one to socialize in games and sit and chat in global etc. That's why matchmaking in games are a god send for people who want to enjoy the group play without the 1 hour preparation to get something going. I'm not going to organize that crap :) And no, you shouldn't have to organize stuff outside the game on Discord either.

I'ts a bummer because I really liked this game and could see myself playing it as my main game for a while, but I'm at the point I wish I could refund everything. Had I known before hand that matchmaking was turned off in end game I would never have tried it, yet spent money on anything. But it's too late now...

This isn't about rushing or spending money to whale in a game to get a head of people. I just finished up all the quests and the Hanged Man this morning. Most likely days after most people. I spend hours researching and farming out certain mods. (that 2% drop rate is a life drainer. The game isn't THAT fun to repeat a mission 400 times) :)

This was the most fun Looter Shooter I played in ages. Sad to have to look for something else to spend my money on.

I completely understand. Once i hit hard mode (today) i felt like the flow of the game was ruined. Whats more baffling about leaving match-making out is that they didn't include any type of clan system. Not only that, but the chat system is terrible. There's so much non sense in the general chart its hard to accomplish anything. Instead they should at least have different chat channels to filter what your looking for. You know "general, recruiting, help" lol basic stuff like that. Its kind of unbelievable its not implemented.

For them to take so much from the two most popular looter shooters its amazing they missed something so basic. I hope they implement it sooner than later. Without it i see me spending far less time on the game. I don't want to have to use outside resources to find consistent groups.

Oh yeah, I felt the same. Hard Mod was a huge disappointment. Sure we can group up in zones for missions for those who are in Hard Mode... but the loop just crashes after that. The dungeons/infiltration missions are solo or group only. No matchmaking? Feels like a huge miss. just sapped the fun out of it.

People says there vo-ip in this game but i never saw someone using it when im in a group, i don't understand cuz my mic is constantly on and i have activated the option on the audio menu. I have the same setup that when i play COD Warzone, it works there but not on this game, so for me theres no vo-ip.

everyone that has pressed escape once has disabled both voip options, just put on some music and jam coordination isn't really required as raids aren't nearly complex enough and if they were you'd look for people on discords.

Gave a few attempts with mic but dunno If I was heard or whatever.
But yeah much as I quite like the game.... the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ absurd macrotransactions and the disabled matchmaking... man ♥♥♥♥.... its almost as if my interest was driving and then a wall popped up and my interest slammed into it like a car at a crash test site and just butchered any momentum the game had for me.

Gotta say tho you are a buffoon to spend money on it. By all means spend money on anything but at least spend it where you get some value, heck any value. Prices are so offensive I'd rather go to the store and buy some smokes and I don't even smoke but I'd get more value. Value here is as bad as beats "headphones" or gucchi purses that are less durable then junk on etsy

If you have spent that money and upgraded your char a lot, you should be able to solo hard mode dungeons without any issue. But if you still want to team up, join game's official discord and type on LFG channel. You don't need to join voice chat or whatever, just find people to team up there that's it.

You can also use in game world chat, yesterday many people were looking for ANY hard mode dungeon team up. You guys are making a lot of drama about this for nothing.

I bet there is no MM, because of the weird setting you can do, before you start a match. The stuff that makes you weaker to get some points.
They could let us join a hosted match manually, over the UI that shows us, what maps are open to join and what modifiers are selected. But, well, they need to add an UI that does support something like that, and they need to develop the whole mechanic.
I dont know, how much work this would be, but this is cleary nothing, we will see very soon.

Yes the more I play the more I realize this is just a cash grab. Game prolly will die down in a month or two.

But I do hope they will do lots of QoL improvements quickly.
