Here is a big tip.
On your reactor gear tab, the components below that, prioritize these: DEF, MAX SHEILD, MAX HP In that order, If you can get those components with double, like DEF as primary and secondary, TAKE IT. I have double DEF on 3 out of the five. Double Shield, double HP
Also, the bosses are scaled ALOT easier if you solo them.
Doing this ensures you are a heavy hitting tank if you level your weapons, and mod correctly. You need to be making sure that you are leveling up your skill mod to increase your slot capacity. Then spec into def%, shield% max Hp% and then your skill power and what not. DO NOT SELL WEAPONS. DECON EVERYTHING YOU ARE NOT USING FOR MATS. Oh also you need to put on the ALL RESIST mod for early game. Max it out at 640ish i think, OR you can just do each element type as you go. Example: Dead bride is chill, so you want the cold resist mod, something around 1800
You also might want to type into youtube, Guide to building solo (Character name)
Hope this helps.
Learn to play (:
It even tells you what resistances to use and what the bosses are weak to. I mean, common sense tells you to level up and farm some gear, level up your modules and then go kill the boss.
I mean... I have seen a lot of complaints about this and most people the complain HAVE played warframe so they should know what to expect. It's like the game has attracted the people that just sit in corners most of the games they play.
sucks being the only cold character on that, with bunnies running around doing no damage.
it was the only boss in the base game that i thought needed resists and good element damage, the ones after that didn't matter so much.
can't speak on any hard mode bosses because there is literally 0 power gain without massive amounts of farming trivial content once you are at the end game. it's a shame because the game is passable otherwise, but ultimately lacks variety due to monetization
