I get hard most is supposed to be hard but,
How many people have done any of the hard mode bosses? I have 5 level 40 descendants, level 17 mastery and all 100 gear and all 3 of my guns have good triple gold affixes and somehow I can't find 1 public squad that can kill the first hard mode boss.

Because in true Korean game fashion, your character caps at lvl 40, your weapons at lvl 100, but the bosses go beyond even that. Since you can't overpower the bosses with stats and are always at a disadvantage, skill and solid builds are required to close the gap. Right now, I don't think anyone knows what they're doing or has the items farmed to do it.

"Public squad" there is the problem. Hard mode anything other than open world missions is designed for pre-made groups with optimized gear. "YOU" might have good gear, but those people your playing with have nerf guns, half their gear slots empty, have no idea about breaking parts or mechanics, and have a almond sized brain rattling around an empty skull.

For hard raids and dungeons you usually need to form a pre-made. (Though I have done hard dungeons with randos, it's still a gear-check for each player.) Intercept battles however in hard+ are mandatory to have a pre-made.

PS: It's kind of funny that the devs allow hard intercepts to rando group when they can't be done by 99.9% of randos. But they DONT allow rando matching for hard dungeons which ARE doable with "some" rando groups.

Yeah, its a skill gap issue most people are not geared like they are using the resistances / properly modded to that boss in public its the wall where i'm not spending money to nexon because their design is flawed.

You don't have to spend any money to get best gear. But just shaves around 80% of the grind off of it. Drop $100 on the game and you can get about a 50% power bump.

I didnt say you had too, I said i'm not going too? so its a pay-wall if i dont wanna invest 500 hours into getting a few mods just to push lmao how is anyone justifying this?
It's more strategy. I had the same issue but some bosses can be tanked so fast if you coordinate your weapons to match weaknesses. The issue is that in random groups if nobody else knows what they are doing you are doomed. Don't get so upset, the challenge is fun. It's rewarding even if tedious.

They don't know how to increase their dps beyond level 100 :), so they just stay with open world gear with bad module setups.

I cleared the Executioner on hard with random team. Just focus more on being the best player you can. Keep upping YOUR stats to compensate for what you think others might be lacking, always blame you and just progress.

For your first bosskills just get the tamer. Put all your mod changes on it and farm only for that one weapon. Make it have atleast 500k dps. Go ahead and solo until poison boss. Take bunny (can kills orbs in the air with V) and steamroll that with randoms (you can only sign up with randoms for the last bosses).

The iceboss is not easy if everyone only has a 500k dps weapon. You need to coordinate with 4 players, one runner for fire orbs on ice cast and 3 dps.

The Turtle also needs 4 coordinated people or you will fail. The dps requirement here is easy once you beat the ice boss but the 2nd phase forces you to place each one of you onto N / E / S / W directions and shoot the pillars. This will remove phase2 immediatly, do this twice and finish it.

If you do not have a concrete strategie you will fail these hardmode bosses. Triple gold rolls on guns dont count for anything. DPS on weapon UI doesnt show true dps.

For Bosses you want crit, critdmg, weakpoint dmg or firearm atk, colossus +dmg

For mods you need to have full crit, critdmg, weakness expose and the most important the element the boss is weak against as 30% extra attack for your weapon. The weakness mod shows no improvement on the status screen same for the elemental mod. Which is stupid because those two can double your damage.

Rushing the bosses like you do is problematic when you dont have 3 fully upgraded weapons you are forced to retreat for reloading your ammo (unless you have an enzo).

Every boss is a joke in the end with proper gear.

Tamer's dps is deceiving, just like any gun with high fire rate and/or magazine cap.

I'm now up to Frost Walker, which I'm probably not going to bother with for the moment since actual mechanics are a pain in the ass with randoms. Ironically, the hardest one to overcome was Executioner, since that was a day or two ago and there were a lot of players just moving into HM and trying to skate by with poor and/or non-existent builds. I cleared the proceeding five bosses within the last two hours or so. Hanged Man was a ♥♥♥♥♥-and-a-half to clear when I did, moreso than any of the other colossi.

They really aren't all that bad so long as everyone is actually trying, both in the actual fight and in pre-fight prep. Which is the entire problem, granted, but eventually the dead weight will get bored and leave and those who remain will (hopefully) figure it all out well enough to farm. None of the first six throw any crazy mechanics at you, just more damage and more health. Don't get tunnel vision and stand in the poison puddles, yada ya.

Hard mode Executioner has 80M health so be prepared to do on average 20M damage to do your part in a 4 man run. Finally beat it and got 22M, another player got 23M, and the others got 17M and 18M respectively. So between 18M to 22M should be a good range to shoot for. To do that, try to have a gun that does 250K DPS or better (like the Thunder Cage) depending on it's actual ability to put damage on the boss and it's weak points (not just the DPS number in the modules screen). My Tamer does just a hair under 400K and I'm putting out a consistent 20M.

Your problem is the Public. It sounds toxic but if you don't see all Level 40's...just leave immediately. They're not serious enough players. It's not an exact measure of ability but it does tell you their state of mind going into it (they're doing everything they can to win). That's how I eventually got it done.

Further advice? Don't go to the Discord in any of the VC's. They're all meme-lord losers who don't even play the game the majority of the time. They just blast music and scream at one another. It's a garbage heap with no redeeming qualities.

Look in the Module screen for the respective gun. You'll see the DPS. All you're seeing in your inventory is the base number. Make sure it's at least 400K or just a hair under.
