Season Question

How do Seasons Work in this Game? I only know it from Diablo where everything resets when you play Season. Is it the same here?

its just a battlepass with rewards in it. that resets and changes every time the timer runs out

is the seasonal weekly a weekly thing then reset or is it going to be the type that expands each week with more "challenges"
