The guy who kept spamming "stupid" over and over again, started to harass me personally. Because I didn't like his favorite porno video game. You're still here, huh?
You are claiming that Nexon, in collaboration with Steam corp. are faking player numbers to scam potential customers. It's a big claim. That's a huge claim, with possible legal rammifications.
The simple answer is that the achievement tracking on Steam is still bugged / very iaccurate, just as it was for years.
Please consider again who is making big claims and needs to provide evidence.
But yes it's probably just a bug with the achievements.
If it's a bug, it's happened on every single account on Steam. At the same time. Along with all community tracking websites.
Achievement tracking in the Steam Client is incorrect, but community driven Steam API powered tracking is currently almost 100% accurate as the accounts self-report to the website.
The website provided has been used as an accurate measure of play count, playtime and achievements for every other game.
It puts games like Elden Ring at, 180K finishing the first achievement.
This is a Steam Forums thread, this isn't an article in the New York Times. I don't think anyone is going to take it seriously. According to the responses of the people here, I think people would rather pretend I'm some crazy person instead of facing what I have proved.
I explained this to someone yesterday, but I'll do it again.
It represents a sample size, which is the basics in all statistics. I don't want you to link your account. This website and almost all tracking websites use the SteamAPI.
Except its not because you claim out of millions of players, elden ring only has a tiny fraction finish the first achievement.
At this point you're just trolling
A sample size represents a piece of the larger community. We use that part to calculate what the rest of the community is doing. It's the basics of all statistics.

So its not using the actual api to get actual solid numbers from the steam database, you're just guessing.
Thanks for clarifying you are in fact a troll.
https://gyazo.com/03bbcb1f65e9c698c8d7dbe05692ed3f heres a sample of people claiming to use the API, its doesnt really match the actual database numbers does it.
Let me explain it to you personally.
When you do the same math process to calculate how many people are playing a game for Elden Ring, compared to this game.
Elden Ring comes out at around 180K completing the first few achievements, compared to only 30K completing it for this game. Despite the almost identical player count.
There's a giant hole in this game. Hundreds of thousands of accounts, which haven't even equipped a single mod but are "playing" the game.
Why are you acting like this? You know that's not what we're talking about, right? I think you're just intentionally trying to be mean.
I really do not know what you are on about my man. These are "Global Achievement" statistics for me.
