It's called god's punishment for wanting and lust. Desire meter tripping the devil's curse and rngjesus cannot bless you.
At least we're sure the 20% ones aren't being honest, either it's missing 1 or 2 zeroes, or they have the unluckiest playerbase in the world where almost impossible situations like going over 50 times to get one drop are very common and we all should just play the lottery.
Games that work with "% drops" have always been controversial because of the low rate of getting rewards, nothing new.
Got 83 hrs in total rn and just got my first ult character piece with a 10% chance, yet there's players claiming they got 1 and even more ult characters crafted with about 50 hours, go figure.
Just bad luck.
I was farming multiple copies of Thunder Cage, the first part has 20% chance, I got 3 copies in the first, third, and sixth try. So, instead of running 15 times the mission, I ran only six times and got all 3 copies.
What you need to think is simple:
If it's 20% then it's 1 in 5, so you run 6 or 7 missions to "guarantee" getting the item. The 2% one? You would need to try 50 times to reach 100%, and then you add some in case you have bad luck, this means run the mission like 60 times to "guarantee" the drop.
Yes, this is a grindy collectaton, this is the game.
Good you aren't playing.
But that's the thing, there's no problem, there's a problem TO YOU, but not a problem in the game. Isn't because you don't like a feature that this feature is a problem. Warframe is exactly the same, highly grindy and a collectaton, to new players is even worse. The difference is that you can drop Prime items to sell for Platinum and purchase other things from players, but it doesn't exclude the fact that Warframe is a grindy collectaton.
By the way, what's the problem with the "Good you aren't playing"? Did I hurt your fragile feelings? You are the one who said stopped playing the game... I'm just saying, it's good that you aren't playing the game, go play another thing, clearly The First Descendant isn't for you.
