How to switch to a private field?

I am annoyed by missions being too easy, because a overpowered Bunny just runs through the enemies, killing everything at once. Would like to do missions alone and saw a "public" button, but it tells me, I cannot switch a public to a private? How can I join in a private field then?

when in Albion set it to private then go to where ever you're going

For some reason if i am in albion it still says i can not do it

You can't change the status of the Albion map

You need to open the map.
Pick a map (not Albion)
In that screen change to private
Port to location

You can change your private session to public later once it's loaded if you want. But you can't switch a public map while you are on it.
