Bunny's evolution outfit - read before you buy

You can buy a cosmetic skin for Bunny that has evolution as its selling point, a skin with 3 different looks that you can switch between once you 'evolve' it. The idea is cool and the skin looks awesome however what the shop doesn't tell you is what you will need to do in order to evolve it.

EDIT - A patch has resolved this. Electrocutions is no longer a requirements, just skills
50,000 skill kills for Evolution 2, and 100,000 skill kills for Evolution 3

Note - you cannot use any transcendent mods that modify your damage skills, as the kills will not count if you do


Each evolution requires :
125,000 electrocutions
50,000 skill kills

50,000 skill kills will take you probably a few weeks of hardcore grinding. the 125,000 electrocutions however will take you several months. To electrocute someone you need to not kill the enemy, and have the electro proc. This is hard to do with Lightning Emission and the best method is using Thrill Bomb which has limited range and limited target count.

After 4 days of just playing story missions and farming mats/blueprints without focusing solely on killing as much as possible as fast as possible Ive manged
3967 electrocutions
8934 skill kills

Just keep that in mind, if your purchasing it for the level 3 evolution, it will take you probably 6 months to unlock it

Don't Forget both items must be equipped as well they don't track otherwise learned that one the hard way.....Everyone claiming its easy doesn't even own the skin to track their kills it's not killing that's the issue its The Electrocutions meaning nothing else can kill them not even the skill its self i'm done with the 50000 kills with skills and only 23000 electro kills its beyond dumb given they don't even let you see the time sink till you buy it for 40$ . I have easily 60 hrs as bunny this grind is not "easy".

the issue is electrocution does not proc if you kill an enemy, they need to survive so mowing down thousands will only help for the kill counter, not the over double electrocution counter

So, the solution would be to nerf her damage as much as possible by stripping her mods off and focusing on increasing the range, for maximum electrocutions. Might buff her survivability too since she won't be killing stuff and thus won't reduce the incoming dps so much.

So you can buy something, and you get to enjoy a goal with that purchase over several months, instead of the 5-minute joy you usually get from a new skin... What is the problem here? If you spend money, you are obviously in for the long haul, so if it will take several months, that sounds pretty awesome actually. You are buying one skin that will keep feeling "new" for a long time forward.

You need to pop or kill the orbs at the same time, or very close to each other. Just use bunny's electrical attack and jump all around the boss to try a hit all the orb at once so they pop all at once.

Wave missions are easy since most enemies dont die in the first hit. Takes at least 2 to 3 hits on the majority of them that are not the basic fodder mobs.

Yeah, I deeply regret that purchase. I understand working for something but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that's too much. I have 50 hours on bunny alone and I don't even have a quarter of the electrocution. I might as well never play another character again if I want to unlock that in less than 400 hours.

Slightly related, but is there somewhere to suggest or bug report to Nexon? I want to speak up about this to them. Maybe some balancing of the requirements could make this more worth it.

I'm fine with the evolution phases but dropping the huge amount of money they ask for to enjoy the skin I want in an year, considering you WILL play other characters too, is the most stupid thing ever seen. And you can't either equip other skins.... I mean, you drop 100 bucks to buy ultimate bunny and you will never enjoy her abase and premium skin for the next year as you NEED to equipt the evo one or it pauses even if you play her.

The worst design decision ever made in the gaming history...

I bet next evolution skins will be a mass success..

One question that I didn't see answered here... do you have to be ON the evolution skin to gain the "exp" for it? Or could you use another skin while owning it so it levels in the background?

No it must be equipped at all times.
