The most dissapointing looter shooter i've ever played

I donno guys. I'm really trying to enjoy this game but it feels so shallow, underwhelming...
I love looter shooters and they are my favourite genre but damn this game has no identity, it feels so soulless, the world feels dead there is nothing to do except run the same mission over and over. It's a straight copy from Warframe but worse in every aspect (i dont even like warframe that much)

The story? Lmao i just skipped through it halfway because it was so laughably bad. Go to this area and do the same boring purple missions over and over again? The void missions against the big bosses? Lol just damage sponges to shoot for 10 minutes. Boring! There is no tactics, no complexity. No puzzles, nobody is communicating. Everyone is just mindless shooting mobs over and over without any tought being put into it. It's just so bland, without and substance and soulless. The game has no decent endgame. The grind is HORRENDOUS. The prices are so stupid expensive.

I understand everyone wants a hot new looter shooter game but there is nothing to do in this game after the initial grind.
I really don't understand the appael of this game and this coming from a big looter shooter fan. It has nothing special going for it. I'm really dissapointed. I foresee this game dying off before the year is over. It doesnt even have that much players for a F2P game...

Yeah donno guys. I'mma try and keep playing it some more to check out more of the end game content but meh. Still thinking of uninstalling it.

TBF the only people liking this grind to get a new skin for bunny are them basement dwellers with nothing much else to do in their daily lives

It's just a braindead looter shooter, just go there shoot your gun use one of your boring abilities and that's it. Mehh...

Also loot is horrible, it's all the same boring guns, and that's bad for a looter shooter. Enemies are cool thoa and gunplay is nice

How far did you reach in the game? How many hours do you have? Mastery rank? How many descendants obtained? I'm actually surprised at the "nothing to do" part so just wondering how far you are

yeah i agree its missing a lot and has made some really poor decisions. but ultimately why would they care its still bringing in the money even from unsatisfied players like me.

im mastery 13 with 3 chars lvl 40 story done most hard stuff done so other than farming 3% drop rates there really isnt much going on in endgame just the same missions over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Thanks bro. I'm not trying to hate it. I'm a big Destiny player and i really would like another amazing looter shooter game. I'm really trying with this game but it's very underwhelming and dissapointing..

I've noticed that many people who are very deep into Warframe and/or Destiny dislike the game. It was the same with Anthem. I rarely play this genre and am enjoying TFD a lot. I also liked Anthem and regret that it was canned.

Seems like Destiny defines the genre for you in a complete way.

Don't force yourself to like something just because a large amount of people like it. Have some self worth/confidence. As a veteran of Warframe, Destiny and The Division this game is literally a mixed bag for me. On the one hand I agree with you about the game lacking something unique, a heart and soul - there really is no special feel to it. Pretty but shallow. It´s is a mixed clone of elements from other games thrown into the soup pot and stirred three times. On the other hand I still hope that the devs use their massive success to overthink a couple of things and hopefully listen to the community. It definitely has potential. However, for long-term success, a number of relevant adjustments still need to be made imho - otherwise people will move on sooner or later ...
