Anyone using the 1hp mod?
The mod name as 'Overwhelming DEF', it will readjust max hp to 1 but max def by24%, anyone find it useful?

Defense caps out at 80% damage reduction so there is no way in hell that mod can be useful. Specially if the normal defense mod will end up giving more with no drawbacks.

Don't know when defense is being capped out though. As it doesn't mention.
I've seen it used with Kyle in a build, and it does not work out well. The second the shield goes down you are downed and when you get revived, you have no shield, meaning you are downed again. So it is really not optimal for any activities that are low on lives etc.

As said above, there are better mods for defense that don't penalize you at all, so I wouldn't really build around that.
I got it and tried it out and it was terrible. The most fun thing about it was when you get knocked down, you get rezzed with only 1 hp so you will likely just go straight back down again.

:steamlaughcry::lol: I did not realized the mod would actually adjust my health to 1, only after i knocked down for more than 10 times only i figured out it was caused by the mod :slinky:
At 1st i couldnt believed the such a terrible mod was designed, now i believed this mod is only for those who seek ultimate hard difficulty to penalize themself
I think they are missing a zero or two on the mod conversion. If I hear "overwhelming" anything, I expect it to be massive.
Ohhhh so that was the mod that was killing me! Everytime I got down, my HP went back to 1 and I got insta killed again. I deleted that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mod after working that out.

:hoji: yeah me too, i even invested upgrades on it, definitely no regret to delete it now and redeemed back some upgrade resources
There are several Mods that have the downside to set HP to 1.
Maybe if you use them all, and have them with a high level, it could make sense.

But I think there was some enviromental damage that bypasses the shield.
Not sure what it was. Acid water? Would be a nasty surprise.^^

EDIT:
I found 4 yellows, which set the HP to 1:
Shield Collector, Conditional Recharge, Overwhelming DEF, Overwhelming Shield.

And 4 purples, that lower the HP by some percentage like
HP Conversion (DEF), HP Conversion (Shield), HP Conversion (MP), Sensory Dep (HP)

And another 4 purples, for maximising each resistance.

Having no health regeneration is basically the same as having no health.

You would need a lot of gear with shield regeneration in combat to make a 1hp build work.

owhh now that i recalled why i got 1 shot with full shield by non boss, this is the mod that ruined my day, i was like all the question mark on my head ... why the hell the non boss foe so powerful lol
HP is so much better than shields currently. Have a ton of hp and you revive with it full, health drops also restore the same percentage so more health = more healing. Get that module that restores 9% hp every X seconds on kill and shields become nothing but an annoying noise that constantly breaks.

Couple weeks late here, but for anyone browsing this thread, this is dead wrong. Defense has no cap, just a diminishing return softcap. For the exact numbers, check out Ryechew's YT channel, he goes through a bunch of numbers.

The actual ingame text this fellow thought was the Defense cap is: "The maximum efficiency for effects that reduce DEF is -80%." That means that statuses that reduce enemy armor are capped at 80% of their DEF, not that you can't build past that with your own stats.
