My bet is they will add the match making that is already in normal mode to hard mode once there are enough players able to access hard mode to allow match making to work.
Without i think the Playerbase will die quick when everybody reaches Hard Mode.
That's why every single boss is just pure DPS-check instead of mechanics that actually would need some real skill.
Yes, you also need to spend at least 20 minutes before every activity trying to form a group in the world chat full of idiots or start playing a game called Discord instead.
You probably aren't there yet. You probably won't be so defensive when you are. It encourages people to prefer to play solo because it wastes so much time, which in turn makes it even harder to form groups because less players are doing it.
Game needs better social features if they don't want to add more matchamaking. Guilds/communities... even a dedicated LFG chat channel would be an improvement.... something.
