Easy Anti Cheat Freezes Computer

Finished installing the game and tried to launch. The launcher pops up, it says "easy anti cheat initializing" then the whole computer freezes and I need to restart.

Have tried validating integrity, updating drivers, updating bios, adding permissions to firewall and anti virus, launching the easy anti cheat installer from the local files.

Has any one else had this and managed a work around?

Where you save the game on? HDD , sata ssd or nvme ssd?

Game was saved on HDD

Hdd take way longer load

i had a similar issue, the game didnt get past the loading screen and crashed, had to update my bios setting to underclock my CPU by setting the clock ratio down to about 53-54, currently playing tutorial, no crash as of yet but who knows i got past the loading screen at least

Sata ssd read speed ( 550mbps ) is 10x of Hdd read speed ( 55mbps ).
Nvme ssd read speed ( gen3 is 2k+ mbps ) and ( gen4 is 4k+ mbps )

Open game file location
right click EACLaunch
properties
general tab
attributes: advanced
file attributes
uncheck any checked boxes then click ok
compatibility tab
settings
check run as administrator box
apply and ok
done
