Leaving Mission

How does one leave a mission in progress? there are no icons or anything that I can see to "abort mission". "Abort Mission" icon is grayed out and unusable. There is nothing on the map to zap back out to ecive. Help?

I don't know if the option is always there, but last time I wanted to leave a mission I opened the main menu and selected the 'Return To Albion' option.

If you are on PC, hit escape and you should see something like abandon current mission or along those lines, without needing to leave the area or travel. If on console, hit start I suppose.
