It's pretty clear cut the game wants you to pay up instead.
I can't say for sure how many but I've lost a lot of them for nothing in the end because minigame has insanely short success ranges and sometimes game doesn't register my input precisely. So 9/10 times you click either too fast or too late. Plus to that failed attempts take away your remaining time. Plus high level ones don't really give you that much time to make it in time since they require 5 or 6 correct inputs. Plus to all of that If you're unlucky, the input range might appear right next to the clock and in order not to fail you will have to wait out the entire circle to try and get it successfully on the next circle (and your time is limited).
With all details combined I have a feeling that this minigame is basically that droid on the base that should help you with info (but he doesn't talk and his subtitles run way too fast, so good luck) but re-incarnated as a minigame.
Maybe I'm just a filthy westerner and I don't play perfectly, so I find all these strange game-design decisions... weirdly unbalanced.
and yeah enzo has a passive that slows down the code stuff a lot
The hoops you have to go through.
1) pixel hunt the map and do some weird platforming ♥♥♥♥ ( in the desert) to get to the chest.
2) farm 3 different keys to use on random rarity chests
3) do a minigame that seems really hard (compared to warframe's lockpick minigame).
4) it consumes the key even on failure.
5) you have to do this COUNTLESS TIMES for different things, on different maps.
HOLY F*CK just put it at 3% drop on bosses! This is a looter shooter, there's barely any shooting involved in this whole process.
