RTX 4090 - Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource.
Okay so I have a 6000 USD PC with RTX 4090 GPU and when I try to run this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game it crashes and gives me this message

"Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Make sure your video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting..."

I've only got about 17 hours in the game but no crashes with my 4090. I did see that same error a few years back when Outriders launched, I was on a 3090 at the time. It resolved itself though, can't really recall if it was a game patch or driver update that fixed it.

Do a search, its an intel cpu issue 99% of the time. Intel 13th and 14th gen cpus are the problem. The motherboards are auto overclocking / pushing too much voltage to the cpu.

The only issue I've had with my 4090 is every time I teleport I need to disable and re-enable frame generation. Hard to explain what is happening but it's like it's generating frames out of sync so you get a lot of jittery ghosting.
this is what im talking about i reviewed this game saying rendering simulation and people are eating me alive so i disable the comments to my review

this is a UE5 error, happens on other games aswell here and there cant totally remember the fix (try removing OC or undervolting your CPU) if youre running a 13/14900 CPU unlimited it can cause issues - thats atleast what fixed it for me

because it's a conflict between UE5 and 13th/14th gen Intel CPUs and not the game's fault, nor something the devs can fix.

i just posted a possible fix.

limit the fps in game to 30fps. If what you are referring to is compiling shaders, let it compile then continue forth if your able to (after compile set it to what you want). This is what worked for me. You'll have to do this every time you launch the game until they fix it. I play The finals, unreal engine 5, no problem. if this is the only game this is happening to you, it is the game not your hardware

AVX2? when did that come out smart one?

its been a security flaw sense 6th gen. dont be mad cause he has a nice computer. intel and AMD been ripping every one off for 15 years. makes me mad cause its not this guys fault you type like your so freaking smart im sure you bought a computer in the past 10 years? not so funny when its you huh?

to lul you need to update your bios your cpu more then likely has to much voltage and watts going to the CPU. head to your motherboard manufacturers web site and get the updated bios to set cpu at intel specs

I'm getting the same problem but instead I have to swap to AMD and then back to Nvidia for it to fix itself

Probably not a good example, but with my 4080 + 7950x3d cpu I run everything maxed 24/7 at 1440p with no cringe dlss or fsr/upscaling, haven't had issues besides once in a blue moon.. would get a freeze for 3 seconds, or weirdly on hanged man colossi when he spawns visually could see the fps dip till after the spawn animation, assuming to much particle effect or something
