Actually running 2 anti cheats conflicts with each other and increases resource usage power. Has nothing to do with "being a cheater" Stop being foolish. Try to actually use your single working braincell.
No wonder the game stutters like a POS.
Are we living in 1990 or 2024 you guys are acting like we're running potato PCS!
When world and rise (monster hunter) came out they had both denuvo (lol) and capcoms in-house DRM. Pretty overkill especially in the case of world where their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ code would loop over and over checking CRC every couple seconds or something goofy. wasting resources, making things run ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ON TOP of denuvo goofball DRM already existing.
The biggest scam game companies ever had done to them was whoever at denuvo convinced them all that this somehow helps their product. The problem lies in the fact that often investors and ceos only give a ♥♥♥♥ about the first few weeks sales because its the "biggest" sales period. They think people who pirate games are going to buy their game if they can't pirate it which is hilariously untrue. People usually pirate games because they can't afford them. Theres no loss because they never would have bought the game in the first place, but they treat it like a loss because well... i dont know someone at DRM companies convinced them that its potential lost money. It's just a giant goof-storm of goofy-tastic proportions.
The most hilarious part is that these companies have to pay MONEY to use DRMs like EAC/DENUVO/XIGNCODE etc. LOL
As for the goofy argument about cheaters, feel free to show me a denuvo game without cheaters or cheats it doesn't exist because it doesn't work. Look at the finals for an example. you can use any popular multiplayer game as an example. Every game has cheaters unforch and drm doesnt stop them. Even EAC doesnt work, look up videos of people using hacks on black desert online when they switched back to easyanticheat and then again when they switched back to xigncode2. It never stopped them it just stops the most obvious stuff like opening up Cheat Engine and making your character run around faster or some ♥♥♥♥. basic level stuff
All that being said I don't really give a ♥♥♥♥ either way if a game is full of cheaters I won't play it and if a games DRM makes it run like ♥♥♥♥ I also wont play it. It doesn't seem to be making my game run like ♥♥♥♥ so I don't care in the end personally, although I do understand why some people do care.
