still HALF the DPS of my Tamer LMG, half the DPS of my Different Dream Sniper RIfle, ONE THIRD the damage of my Subconscious shotgun.
and yet took 4 hours and countless resources to make, level and re-roll. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ even if you were to stack 5 of them on top of each other i doubt it's DPS would miraculously quintuple making it even slightly worth the investment. Nexon you droppin the ball.
Edit: So far only thing I see as a benefit for the grind of getting ultimates is the extra % boost on reactors. Most non ultimates will have better dps though for gunplay.
The Tamer seems busted compared to any other general ammo weapon, as a MG with huge dps. Then you compare to special ammo weapons as if any general ammo gun is supposed to compare on straight dps terms. I'm not saying the Albion Calvary is a good gun but your comparison basis is extremely poor.
Anywyas im not trying to be semantic i was just saying i think it will get retuned too
i think the math of the garbe code of the game, writes wrong dps numbers, you can calculate it youself with 1 round damage x mag / reload + time to empty x all the extra effects.
but in the menu where you equip it (inventory) it says it does something like 1208k.
One of these menus calculates dps wrong im guessing its like how shotguns in games usually do dps worng because they only count 1 pellet or they count it as if every pellet hits every time (although obviously different)
anywyas tl;dr
yeah the dps number is weird but i think it can generally be trusted, or you can go shoot that one guy i think in albion theres a vulgus fella stuck there as a target dummy
By default in the weapon selection menu, it shows the weapon DPS without mods.
there an option a the bottom left to show with mods
