Jayber useless?
I decided I wanted to main jayber only lvl 22 atm but he seems way way under powered. His turret draws aggro and gets destroyed in 2 seconds, his med turrent is stationary and everyone is always moving not in its radius and he has tissue paper for armor...

Interesting. So one of the top rated reviews talking about the best descendants is full of ♥♥♥♥.

Got it. I will test them all myself even if it takes a bit to get them all.

A really good Jayber player that knows how to buff their turrets properly, blow up their turrets properly and DPS at the same time can make the entire team practically immortal in most situations. Other players will (hopefully) quickly learn that defending Jayber's healing station is a number 1 priority.

He just seems weak at first when levelling and because a team can blast through the content. When things get more difficult, and it does, players will start sticking to your turrets during encounters.

It gets better later and the healing turret doesn't go down as quickly.

The skill power and skill radius descendant mods are essential for him too. Make sure you focus on getting those maxed out.

The healing aspect of the healing turret is useless. Don't think of it as a healing turret, think of it as a decoy, it has more health than you do. Turrets increase in power as you do, so if they are weak, it's because you're weak.

In short, you're simply playing it wrong. Use the healing turret to draw agro and distract enemies, buff the other turret to damage. It's more of a solo class, or camping objectives class, not a mobile class.

Exactly this, I have just started maining Jayber and I am really enjoying it. Also make sure you're doing your mods properly and not just slapping on whatever. Jayber is a great support but not a lazy support, you can't just throw out your turret and sit back.

Ya I've been thinking about this and I think most people are approaching this as if it were another game. I was going to get Jayber but after optimizing Bunny and looking at the nature of the game.

DPS = KING and Jayber is not it.
Healing = Useless
Tanking = Useless

If you out DPS something to death you minimize healing needs and tanking needs. So if everyone ramped to the gills with DPS your better off.

I see Jaybers just standing there basically worthless while I'm running around destroying everything in seconds they just stand there with their hands in their pockets. As for bosses it's just too easy to dodge everything.

Eventually they stop even dropping turrets.

I'm max level, maybe these classes will find use at high tier end game or something.

The best classes are all the DPS classes, Bunny, Gley, Valby. These are the top of the list and there is a reason.

If you need healing switch to a higher shield build.

In the betas I was healing my whole team fighting the last few bosses without problems. You just need to upgrade and use him correctly.

I'm a very new & low-level Jayber player & would greatly appreciate your help with the following problem: Every time that I try to use his 1st and/or 2nd skills (Attack Turret & Medical Turret) - they both never materialize quickly & sometimes they fail to materialize. Also, I can never get either one of them to spawn in a location of my choosing - if they spawn at all then it's far away from where I intend for them to be. Another weird thing I've noticed: when I press the buttons on my controller to deploy the Attack Turret - I always see a translucent orange-colored holographic image of this turret - but I usually can't get it to deploy. What could I be doing wrong? Is this how a very low-level Jayber's 1st & 2nd skills are supposed to work?

Man you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sayd it, i thought i was only with this problem, as you mentioned "they both never materialize quickly & sometimes they fail to materialize." is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ true, it feels broken, like not smooth and stable, but freaking time consuming and annoying when failed, also retrieving turrents feels so weird, half of the times it does not dop that at all. This needs to be resolved, reworked and reinspected and what not, so cool class with such annoying things, what a shame...

This is the solution: You need to press the “Fire” button (on PC, left-click mouse button; on PS5: press R2 button on controller) after that translucent holographic image of the turret appears at the location that you want it to materialize.

No i get it how to do it, but sometimes when i try to do it, it wont let me. Also that 3rd skill is so useless, so slow to equip and slow to shoot it wastes many good seconds or bunny already cleared all and your turrents sits there useless. This class needs rework...

As long as you have enough Mana (blue bar) to deploy them, your Attack Turret & Medical Turrets should both deploy very quickly. I definitely agree that the 3rd Skill (Multigun) should equip more quickly than it does now & I hope that gets fixed. On Reddit, I’ve been told by other more advanced/experienced Jayber players that his skills are not great in the beginning when you start playing him. However, if you stick with him & equip Descendant modules that boost Skill Cool-down Reduction & Skill Range - he will be much stronger. Hope this helps!👍
