There are plenty of games where boosters dont expire when you don't play. xDefiant for example, which is newish.

Just to chime in.

I have played lots of games over the years and I would like to see this game do like many of them and have boosts that only tick down when your actually, you know, in game playing.

If I buy a 3 day boost or w/e but then have unexpected work emergency and can't play for a couple days it would be nice if my 3 day boost was not ticking down being totally wasted.

This ticking down while offline does not motivate or incentivize me to buy any however if the timer paused while I was offline that indeed WOULD make me more willing to buy some.
