Intel Iris is below minimum hardware requirements for Unreal Engine 5 under DX12.

Mind the minimum requirements on Steam Store prior to purchasing a game.

What was the point in this response? if anything your response is trolling here. It sucks that steam doesnt do a better job filtering this crap out.

As for the original issue. This could be a bug, Under the intel Iris Xe compatibility chart. It states it can run unreal engine 5. Which I assume is the problem.

Are you saying this is an intel issue? I was recently able to update from DX11 to DX12 while using an Intel Iris XE. If the system is able to update to dx12, I am assuming that dx12 is compatible or else it wouldn't update.

There is no issue, Iris is below minspec for Nanite, so below minspec for 64bit atomic instructions, which is an optional part of Shader Model 6.6/ DX12 Feature Level 12_1

If you think there is just one "DX12" then you are completely misunderstanding how the tech works and how it evolves over time.

Again, mind the minimum hardware requirements, they exist for a reason.
