And you believe that 48 days or 48 months is going to make any difference on pricing? At all? You knew to free to play games? So they aren't allowed to express grievances on pricing until some mythical date in time?
And yes, 1200 isn't "technically" $50.00, but that's what you essentially need to spend to reach the 1200 requirement (or less by buying multiple smaller packs, but then as expected, you lose out on coins by doing so).
I agree with the OP otherwise. There is a LOT of intentional grind to force players to want to pony up money to deal with it. I nearly uninstalled the game, and may still do so, once I found out you can't have separate loadouts for other Descendants without paying a bunch of money to add more "Presets". I'm only 16 hours in and if I'm already seeing insane toxic grinding mechanics to get people to pay more, or even the most basic of game functions (having individual load outs for each class????) isn't a thing and costs extra just to have some loadouts, then how bad is it going to look 50 hours in?
Really glad I held off on buying the battle pass or anything like that. Once the majority of players start to find out how bad the microtransactions are, things are going to spiral really fast in the player counts.
That's how it works for everything in life. No biggie. No essay needed. It's a waste of time.
btw, all games use same "X costs 300 / 1100, premium currency bundles are 250 / 1000" trick, not just Nexon. it is just a business model that somehow crept into games.
since game is free, would be polite to consider supporting devs, one way or another, when you have played over 15-20 hours. at least in my own policy, then game has then been worth my time, and then consider buying custom skin or something.
or just farm it if you aren't willing to spend a single cent on the game.
If it's worse than warframe I will stay f2p and quit at some point. If the grind is bearable I may stay for longer than 100 h and spend some cash. But never for convenience stuff.. since the prices sure are insane.
I spend 300 euro for poe.. I spend over 500 euro for warframe. I consider the stuff I got there having a certain value and never regret it.
The stuff you can buy in this game however. No. Just no. Not worth it unless you are a whale throwing cash around like toilet paper.
