lol i just looked into this myself in canada a single energy activator will cost you $34 i think the comparible Orokin Reactor in Warframe is like $1.50

I don't understand who is making these decisions; they're lifting systems from more successful games only to jack the price up/increase the grind for them, seemingly arbitrarily. There's a reason why Orokin Reactors in Warframe are basically given away for free.

The constant nickle-and-dimeing and fishing exclusively for whales at the cost of everything else is annoying, but I guess this is a Nexon game after all.

Yeah you hit the nail on the head it is Nexon and they will get what they can and be done with it.

to me it's the price of the activators and catalysts that are making me rethink playing the game.

As ok more descendants are fun but not necessary to play the game. the capactiy boost of descendants and weapons kinda is. so at minimum for 1 kitted out descendant(that you didnt pay for) so its capacity and 3 weapons capacities boosted will cost you about $136

the sad part is they do it for 2 reasons

1) they don't give a ♥♥♥♥
2) they know some people will pay it

so they will fleece the whales as long as they can and move on because i refer back to #1

Is there no way to get either of these in the game?? I regularly get orokin reactors and catalysts in WF from events, the FREE battlepass, and sometimes the daily sortie (like today!).

im not sure if you can get them as is but i do know you can craft them however they are not exactly high drop rates.

I mean there is a reason Warframe makes them basically free. to make it easier to level up frames then sell you on the (rightfully) more expensive cosmetics for the frames.

yeah, i have been trying to support the game, but the pricing is mental.. I pity the Korean players that see this as normal. Someone over there i making a fortune. probably going to play till my characters are maxed and the robot gives me the free upgrades ( one left) then move on to something else, manor lords looks good. I don't mind paying a bit monthly for a free to play game, but i'm not paying the cost of a game, every time i want to end game upgrade my character.. give it a few weeks tops.

Not to spoil but you get 2 for free for completing the campaign. Still agree the price is insane though.
