Oh sh*t you have serious problem, my bad. Wireless mouse dying? Can you try a different mouse? Try cleaning the bottom where the laser is and your surface. Not every game will handle "loss of input" the same, sometimes it'll continue the last input (this is what seems to be happening to you), sometimes it'll stop. Might not have noticed it in other games... maybe?
I CAN say that system instability can cause input device lag and brief periods of freezing/hitching...Specifically, instability caused by RAM or CPU overclocks that are too aggressive.
I had mouse hitching and pausing until I increased my RAM's tRFC from 450 to 500...Stupid Hynix M-Dye.
I tried to use a controller in the middle of the fight, but that didn't change anything. Once I warped back to Albion my camera went back to 'normal'.
I think it's a server issue due to i had the same problems, on and off in the betas.
if this aint it, gl
I just lowered the polling rate on my mouse to the lowest setting and it went away.
I got this issue too when me and another player tried to grapple his shoulder at the same time. My camera was locked, and then when he teleports you into the air I was walking in the air above him until someone eventually broke that shoulder piece.
I put the issue in discord, but they haven't fixed it yet.
EDIT: It seems to happen more and more frequently as well.
