Bro they are already collecting all your data when you play the game. Their terms of service and anti cheat setup are wild. Non stop data collection and you cannot opt-out of it. Knowing that why are you scared about giving away your phone number lol?

actually, the phone number does slow how fast people make accounts. the spam they had earlier today was pretty tragic. so by banning those phone numbers it reduces the excess.

not all spam or trolling, but some. I know some only see negative in all things, but the reality is this does help, some.
