Reason for the downtime is Microsoft
After looking into the issues of the server I found that they're running their servers through Microsoft Azure which is down. So the issue is entirely on Microsoft. You can figure out when the game will be back up, soon after Microsoft fixes their issues, which is also affecting Xbox.

From Nexon:

“We have found that Connection issue is mainly due to MS Network error and we are waiting for MS to recover. We will make notice once it’s recovered.”

I'm glad you pointed this out, doubt anyone will read it and take it in. While still blaming Nexon for this. :)

Do you understand that the "outage reports" are comming from Twitter? If only there was an official way to check for outages in MS Azure, i dunno something like a Service Health.

Some of you just believe any presented information without checking where its comming from

Nexon literally said it's because MS Azure servers are down. It's also affecting Xbox services

What about the statement from Nexon attributing the issue to Microsoft servers? Is that a reliable source?

and what about the link that OP included in the body of this post? https://downdetector.com/status/windows-azure/

Yeahhhh..... You don't have the service permissions under Live to view the stuff being affected. Why would your end user view match the enterprise view??
BluRavnX Jul 3, 2024 @ 6:49pm
Yeah, MS has been broke as heck today and yesterday. My daughter couldnt play anything yesterday and it was unplayable today. Says issues with MS on XBox. She wasnt playing TFD. So, there is definitely something going on with MS right now.

Who am I going to trust? MS that has all its service status publically accesible or Nexon with his "Trust me bro".

As for the link... Just take a minute to read the page, and see where "outages" are comming from.

From all indications, Microsoft is suffering a DDoS. It has been having trouble keeping Minecraft authentication servers up for the past two days, and even their xbox live status page indicates problems. Curiously, Azure status has been "good" since about four hours after initial issues, though many reports indicating issues are still persisting. Likely failed reporting on Azure status, either by mistake or by design.

It's not necessarily a problem with actual server outage. Most probably some patch was released on Azure without notifying the developers. Companies like Google and MS tend to not giving a s... about timely notifying about what they think is "not critical changes" in API and other services.
It can take a while until developers will be able to adapt the code.

Also, in case of DDOS server won't necessarily go down.
