Standing still and frame drop? It's related to throttling, either overheating or power draw. Can try capping fps to 60.

Hardware side, check your cooling system/temps, bios settings related to temp/power and power supply unit...

Many people are having this issue. They recommend reinstalling the game. But this didn't help for me. Every time I shoot the gun, I go from 90 fps to 5.
After the latest patch I’ve been getting some serious frame drop issues when in battle.

people have been asking and concerned about it I have to recompile the shaders to get it to stop I think its the way UE5 is right now. mines not as bad as PoisonMichael (I seen you in game BTW) but it can get annoying when it happens. I went 2 days with out a shuttering effect. after the so called "hotfix" I had to recompile again. I just exit the game and trigger a recompile. but I noticed it has alot to do with frame gen. and ray reconstruction

SSD, mouse polling rate to 500mhz, fullscreen, amd fsr native aa, framegen on

my stutters have practically been eliminated

the FSR frame gen works for all gpus.
I pc specs surpass the recommended, but I need to stick with "high" visuals. On ultra, the fps will drop and freeze whenever there is a bunch of mobs.

You PC might be a monster, but if not proper configured, it will cause problems.

It was like this every beta, even Nexon has no idea.

can confirm, i noticed my fps dropping if i moved my mouse quickly, even on the main menu, but standing still it was solid. dropped my polling rate on my mouse from 1000 to 500, went from dropping to 50 fps from 120 to dropping to 114. dropping the polling rate farther might result in less accurate mouse movements being translated but it gets rid of the drop all-together for me.

5800x/4090 I notice a lot more framerate issues when I alt tab. it also seems that when I play the game for a while I have to restart it. it seems like more of a game optimization issue than a throttling issue.,
