Stop calling this Warframe
I don't understand why people think this game is similar to Warframe. Warframe is a very linear game in terms of their quests (go to this planet, then the next, then the next, etc) and it's very unnecessarily complicated when it comes to their lore. You also can't really see if anyone needs help or assistance in Warframe, since joining missions will not always have people. This is actually crucial if you are a new player and you need help on a mission. Warframe, lastly, has such a complicated item progression that if you aren't keeping yourself up to date on the latest loot, you will find yourself lost on which resource you need.

But this game is different from that, there is more incentive to join and help out with people (because you actually can see other people doing missions), I have actually rescued someone from death because of the fact that I could see them almost dying. There won't be any issue in not finding a team mate to assist you (cross-play, Asian player-base). The progression regarding items and loot are simple to understand. This game feels more like a "modern" Phantasy Star Online and I have no complaints.

It's similar in a lot of ways. The devs definitely took inspiration from Warframe and it shows. So the comparison is fair. After playing it, I don't think it's the same. It's not better. It's worse in many ways, but I like the aestetics and it's something new. We'll see how it develops. At least it's not just a copy.

OP rescued someone from death and now thinks the game is the 2nd coming of christ

guess he'll appear soon, watch out!

With nearly 5000 hour in Warframe i dont get how you could try to pretend that this was not masssively inspired by Warframe.
The mods, the format, mastery giving point to mods, the way it play just a better version of what warframe was before it went bad.

It's actually much more new player friendly than Warshame ever was.

No mastery challenge though. Just a 5 minute cutscene of a bizarre hand covering your character. It's really... weird. Makes no sense.

"You also can't really see if anyone needs help or assistance in Warframe,"

Are you drugged or something ? . The social aspect of this game is TRASH compared to warframe , the chat is horrible , basically useless , people literally dont say a word during the mision no matter how much you try to reach them (and is understandable , the chat is braindead bad designed . If i would want to put a specific team together here would be absolute imposible to do .... in warframe takes seconds or minutes at most to get the people you ask for .

This game is literally warframe in his "structure" , if you deny that is because you are just a stupid fanboy or something .... even the devs admited it .

"since joining missions will not always have people."
Neither this game .... a lot of my "dungeons"/"raids" have uncompleted teams on it ... and its the release ...
"There won't be any issue in not finding a team mate to assist you "
I cant speak about the future but based in the time it has released , i did close to 50% if not more of my gamplay alone ... and its day 1/2 .

"But this game is different from that, there is more incentive to join and help out with people"
And what is that "incentive" ? to be fair i would love the option (maybe exist , i didnt spent too much time in settings) of turning off the auto joining missions that are close ... is fairly annoying .

"Warframe, lastly, has such a complicated item progression that if you aren't keeping yourself up to date on the latest loot,"

It has more than a decade worth of constant content .... of course is gonna be hard to take if you are new :S .

"Warframe is a very linear game in terms of their quests (go to this planet, then the next, then the next, etc)"

Literally exactly the same desing of this game , you have zones with 4 of 5 misions that are close to clones ones of another (and even the mision types are close to same as warframe ones) . And its equally "linear" (unless i didnt found the way to go to the last zone without passing for all the previous ones)

Hah, that's not difficult. But there's little explanation on what does what. And remember, Warframe was much simpler on release. All content and stuff you have now didn't exist all those years ago. Complexity grew and the guide on how to play was never really updated to match. I think Warframe is fine, but you definitely need to get your feet wet and take your time to learn.

Youre right this game is soulless garbage compared to warframe. Its actually complete disrespect to use warframe as a comparison because its superior in every single way. TFD takes the bare aspects of warframe without any of the soul. The characters and guns in this game is pathetic, just boring kits and uninspired weapons. Not only that prices are double and triple and the skins look derivative.

Games is garbage, I genuinely enjoyed Anthem more than this

Mastery challenge stopped being good long ago, when we hit the 14 the dev decided to not care anymore and they copy pasted a few mission for all the next one.
And after the rework the mastery level didn't even need to try, you could pass them with a generic build and minimal effort.

But yeah, the level up with the hand is, something? I guess. I hope they do something with it at some point because it seem totaly disconeced from the game.

Play Warframe for longer than not at all, and yeah, TFD is a rip-off largely. I can tell you the Warframe counterpart to everything, if you need; feel free to ask. It's very, very, very obvious.
