Why so much hate?

There is a lot of hate around the game and i don't see any arguments that actually make sense. The whole "war frame is better just go play that" or "This game is literally destiny 2 just go play that" is so ignorant and is not the way to review games. I'm 4 hours in and i have got 3 free descendants and am currently building an ultimate all for free yes there is skins but the game is free and the game play is fun so whats the big issue? All the cut scenes are voice acted for the most part which is awesome even though the voice acting might be dull at times for sure but its far better than reading and its far better NOW than war frame and destiny 1 where in its beginning stages any way just want a friendly discussion please be respectful and talk like an actual human being.

To answer your question? Because the Steam forums are equivalent to Twitter and do not reflect opinions of normal people or real life.

The truth is probably pretty logical, which is that it's a "summer blockbuster popcorn flick". Game isn't bad. It isn't amazing. It's mindless fun to be had for a few hours with friends and when the mood strikes. Some will play the heck out of it. Most will probably pop in and out of the game for awhile with no real passionate reaction to it one way or the other.

People just auto-hate on it because its nexon and has p2w, thats it

also people hate on ANYTHING for the most minor reasons recently

its the outrage culture. society becomes more and more f***ed up every year now

my point of view is:

the game is very fun right now if you are into grindy games/mmo type games.. is it still fun in a month? i dont know, but right now it is, thats all that matters to me
once i dont like it anymore i will just quit

the game is more fun than destiny and warframe right now, since i dont like the direction those games took over the years, but i like this one, decent game

The gameplay is pretty standard. Clones all around: no customization for free. The graphics is okay, that means not impressibe. That's why. And the servers are down already.

Yeah I think a lot of it might be just that they've already spent 2 grand buying cosmetics and p2w stuff in warframe and if people swap to a new game they are "losing it." They can just keep playing warframe idk what the big deal is. Its also really weird how DE gets a pass for their incredibly scummy monetization but if a game has Asian devs suddenly its evil. You have like tiny shoulder pads and stuff for 15 bucks in that game and three day timers on unlocks.

OFC it is :) Got it today ( Freyna - the third char ) and it takes 15 hrs just to get build. Not to mention the 20% chance - 3 parts will take you at least an hour to drop, if you are lucky.

Thats a good review i agree its standard but still fun none the less for me and yea but to be fair as far as games like this launches go this one went fairly smooth for day one you gotta give em credit

But yes, 100% this. It's a free to play game. Cost nothing to kill a few hours on it. Play it until you find yourself not interested in logging in anymore. Come back to it when a friend or two want to check it out. Drop it if it isn't tickling your fancy and uninstall it. To have any stronger emotional reaction to the game than that is super weird.

yea you farm certain activities, to get the items, it takes roughly 15 minutes to complete.

Fanboys of other games hate TFD because that's what fanboys do. Imagine you played Destiny and payed hundrets of Dollars and then comes a F2P game arround that looks and plays better and has more intresting classes to play. there are just some butthurt people arround.
