Filter ALL as Junk [?]

Anyone get this function to work in inventory?

It's supposed to mark all items of the designated tier and below automatically as Junk, but doesn't do it for me.

What's the deal?

did you change the settings ? also it does not mark set item by default as junk.

You need to push / hold a button in the inventory screen to actually apply the junk filter to your inventory. Simply changing the settings doesn't actually mark your junk.

Hold SHIFT. That marks all inventory as junk as specified in your filter. It does not do that by itself

Adjust the level in the filter to the max level of the gears you don't need, hold shift. hold ctrl. Easy inventory clearing.

I tried all the settings (Rare and below, Epic and below, etc etc), but didn't do anything for me. Marks nothing as junk. Holding Shift I know marks everything. But that defeats the purpose imo xD

Damn, last time I did that it deleted my purples as well. Loot filter set to blues and below...

If you've updated the level threshold then you might be working with items where everything is outside of that threshold and you'll need to change that.

It is a setting not a command. Hold shift to apply.

Gonna give it another try and make sure Junk Filter is at the correct threshold again. Thanks for the replies :D

For me holding Shift does designate as junk but i cannot change the filter settings. Everytime i try it just reverts to default.

You configure the filter(I think it need more options), The shift key is to select everything on the page based on the filter. Then finally ctrl key to actually junk them.

J to manually mark an item as junk. U key will register item as favorite and not junkable (heart icon appears on it).

I find it works safer in reverse, hold shift to mark everything, then you go back and deselect what you want to keep. This way, at least you don't lose everything if the settings did not take.

Since someone might come to this post and they might be using PS5 or a different console:

1. Adjust the filters ( Just below the inventories, not at the extreme bottom).
2. Use the option to mark all as junk (this will apply the filter. See bottom of the screen)
3. Dismantle all marked Junks (see bottom of the screen)

Items marked as favourites are not automatically marked as Junk, so at least mark your favourite External Components (or also Reactors) as favourite since their additional boost stats can not be changed (this functionality is only available for weapons)

I set all options and everything to dismantle. Every sub option every tier every everything and it's finally got rid of all these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reactors. Because everybody knows that every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mission you do gives you 93 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thousand reactors. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I already have the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reactor I want stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ giving me 93 thousand other options of what I don't want.
