Lost All Progress When Linking Nexon Account
So I played this game for around 6 hours yesterday. I enjoyed it a lot, I bought a bunch of currency and the premium pass. I decided to link my Nexon account so I could get the Twitch Drops and BAM. Gone. All of it.

My account was completely reset. It gave me a new user ID, restarted the game from the tutorial and all of the currency and pass I bought is lost. I tried unlinking my account but that broke it even more! It created a THIRD new user ID, also starting again at the tutorial.

So now I'm out 100 bucks and half a day of my time with no fix in sight. I've tried the live chat, support tickets and the Discord. No one has responded to anything. Ghosted for over 24 hours now.

This is becoming a wide spread issue but the devs are not acknowledging it. Many many people have posted on here, Discord and Twitter about this exact issue. Losing their progress and paid currency with no way to get it back. This is absolutely unacceptable and can not be ignored and yet here we are. Not even a statement on the issue.

Same thing happened to be. About $50. Steam denied my tickets, but I now have one open with Nexon. Never got a confirmation email from them, did anybody else?

They are not acknowledging the issue. I did a little research and Nexon gaming is not BBB affiliated. Just read what other horror stories from other users.

lemme join yo folks... same issue here, linking or unlinking nothing works, 50 hours progress rang 11 with my two Ult Descs gone just like Steam in the Air
and i dont play this 0815 Acc Game until this **** is fixed.

All these issues would be avoided If Nexon would ACTUALLY connect their account system with TFD. You would have email, you would have NexonTag, everything you need to have your progress saved. Nexon had time to make it work, but choose not to. I will still play, but I will not give them any cent for this f-up.

I hope this gets fixed as well. Not sure if there's any boons to it, I do get Twitch Drops already. I forget what it was, just followed the link from Twitch itself and it worked. But it's showing my very first nickname I ever had on steam 15 years ago (Master Rookus) instead of the current one today. Hah, which is funny and nostalgic... and yes, a screw-up. I hope they fix this linking issue.

EDIT: Obviously there's one big boon to it I forgot about; with the links established, you can use the same save across all devices.

I had this issue today. Lost all progress, lost all money, which is 300 euro. Made a request to nexon, no response yet. Unlinking didnt helped, just gaved me another empty guest account. I dont know how much 300 euro worth in other countries, but here in hungary its pretty much for 1 week playing.

Really? Should i try that too? I never played mapple story tho. Also i made a "Request" on the TFD nexon site. 4th day no answer from them at all.
Can you tell me detailed what is this mapple story and how to go to their support? And how they could fix your TFD account?

Im tried mapple story support too. They told me they dont have any data or contact with the first descendant game, they cant touch anything with that. They gived me the support link to first descendant, where im already have a ticket open for 5th day now and still no answer. I think i lost everything. :(

My progress was linked to an account that does not exist and I never made, so I unlinked and linked my Nexon account. That fake account was linked from the first time I started the game. All progress lost. And yes, I absolutely did not have a Nexon account prior to this.

Unlinking the account and delinking Steam from Nexon (and various combinations thereof) didn't help. Not even able to send a ticket because I get an error when trying to sign in to their zendesk site. Lost over 40 hours of progress so I think I'm done with the game. I still have the member code that was listed in the settings of the original "account" that was linked. Hoping that'll help me get the progress back if I can ever get in touch with their support.

I had a ticket I put in to recover my account and they answered in 4 hours.

oh okay , did they actually help you though? and if yes, please tell me which email you wrote to or which support site you used. A friend of mine is trying to recover her account and they won't respond to her. Much like other people who are commenting, it's been 4+ days already...

lol. 5 days now for me and i not get any answer from a ticket. my case is when i start playing the game. i have nexon account linked to my steam alredy. but i have no idea why i have nexon account linked. i try to recovery nexon account. using my game name nexon tags to find email and nexon account recovery page say my account not exits. i wanted to play on my PS5 and i afraid to click unlink and link to new nexon account because peoples doing that and lose all progress.

waht ever account you linked first is now acting as the primary account so unlink your nexon account.

like if you made a new account and you linked your xbox account first that one is now acting as your main account and will be showing over your pc account if you unlink your nexon account all of your stuff will still be there you just need ot change your main linked account
