I have the same problem it tells me to try DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument. Steam, but it won't let me start the game, the same box still appears

THe game is made in UE5 which no longer supports DX11 so it will never happen.

If you get the DX122 error, what is your Windows version number and GPU?
(you can find the windows version and build when you open cmd and type in winver)

Not all windows 10 builds will support the features this game uses.

I have a similar problem with this error, although it is dx12, win 10 (22H2, 19045.1889)

Your system is probably trying to run the game with the integrated graphics chip. Assure you use only the discrete GPU (disable the integrated GPU if necessary through your UEFI/BIOS) and update the GeForce driver version to the latest.

Unfortunately, although the GTX 960 Mobile supports DirectX 12, the feature level is only 11_0. That's why you cannot run this DirectX 12 Ultimate game using the Agility SDK.

2) In the Nvidia Control Panel:

WINDOWS AND DRIVER UPDATE FIXED THIS ISSUE FOR ME
