And what about skins? Or live whole game in single outfit...
I am actually at the point ,where i would want ultimate skin from bundle, but not the ultimate character itself (so i could unlock it myself), yet... the price would not change for 99% even if i would have character unlocked.
The difference here is that in POE skins are just skins, cosmetics. In this the ultimate suits give you stat boost.
And to actually make better point against PoE than you, PoE has "pay for convenience" features that absolutely give benefit to you.
However, these are pretty cheap and you only need to buy it once and you are set for entire game. It's almost like support bundle at this point. And PoE is just THAT good that community allows it.
I don't think this game is anywhere as good to justify many times worse monetization. Hell, I don't think this game is even competative to current f2p or cheap looter shooters in the market. I would be surprised if it will have much of a playerbase in like 2-3 months once novelty wears off and less grindy content is done.
if your lucky....
i dont even have that many play hours in any elder scrolls game...
nexon...
What does suck is that you cannot dye the base suit's of basic or ultimates even if you buy it!
Then once you do dye something it loses all the added texture detail and looks much worse than the original base variants, which, you cannot apply to the ultimate as a skin.
I bought ultimate ajax to find this out :(
The only real bonus of the ultimate I can see is 2 extra polarities ore applied to mod slots, I've read there are unique mods for it, but I'm yet to see any evidence of this.
Save your money, it's not worth it, luckily, no ones forcing you to buy it.
The predatory part is the way things are bundled, you can't buy the things you might want seperately, imagine if you already have ultimate bunny and want that skin or god forbid the accessories... tough luck.
yeah you can the bosses drop them admittedly very low chance I got one of the Ultimate Bunny pieces it has a 2% drop chance but it dropped
