Game not using GPU at all?
Game is using 0% of my GPU, but instead just using all of my CPU to the point I can barely run it on mediocre settings. Anybody know how to fix?

try system -> graphics settings (type in the search bar if you cant find it) and turn on hardware accelerated GPU scheduling. i faced the same issue and this fixed it for me.

If ur playing on 1080p it's gonna use more CPU than GPU if ur playing 1440p or 4k then it's more GPU usage.

How and why did this help? My GPU was at literal 0% usage just like OP before enabling this setting and now it's hitting upper 90%. I don't have this issue with other games I don't think.

I know it's working perfectly fine for me regardless of what the performance monitor is saying, becasue there is no way in hell that this game would run on i7-3770S alone, and after a gaming session the temperature in my room raises by about 5'C because my 1070ti is cooking

typical UE5 game. same problem with The Finals

And here I was thinking this game was really well optimized. I am genuinely impressed at how well it runs on my 1660Ti.

You might very well be suffering from "faux" bottlenecking. It sounds counter intuitive, but try increasing your graphics setting to high or ultra and see if that changes GPU utilization. Some games when run on low settings divert more tasks to the CPU than GPU due to the computers logic thinking it "doesnt need" the GPU. JayzTwoCents has a video on the topic for reference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VcytCt02eE

I once had a weird bug in Knights of The Old Republic, game would run on 12fps unless to changed the graphics settings, and it didn't matter if I changed from low to high, or high to low, I just needed to change something.

Found this thread as I had a similar issue and nothing seemed to work. I eventually fixed it by turning off hardware accelerated GPU scheduling. I've had it on previously through a recommendation on another game and figured I'd turn it off to test. Immediately started using 80% of my GPU and framerate skyrocketed.

Some other notes: I manually added the game in windows graphics and set it to performance. Additionally, I noticed switching the in game options under Performance to AMD then Native AA for FSR, it allowed me to use Frame Generation on my Nvidia card and drastically boosted my frames in game.

Hope this helps someone who was in the same boat as me.

Thank you you fixed my issue

I think, it is just some kind of (visual?) bug. Because if I switch to 1440p or 2160, my GPU temperature will rise to 70-70C+. With same near 0 GPU usage.
