I have simmiliar system and game isnt running smooth.

Game is even doing 4TB readings on the SSD in 3 Hour game session. and the game is only 35GB.
Other games I play only reading one time the game size and thats it even when playing it for 12 hours. but this game somehow always reading the whole game anew every loading screen.

Temps for GPU and CPU are insanely high too.

SO yeah I guess game needs some fixes?

13/14th gen intel cpu = doomed. Intel has no fix for it "yet", there are workarounds, google it.

8GB VRAM is not enough for 1080p anymore.

I download intel application... and reduce performance core ratio from x53 to x50... and it worked !!

download and use the free intel Extreme overclocking utility and down clock the performance cores before launching the game. it is a known issue with unreal engine 5 during compiling shaders and higher end intel cpus b/c the power profile in your bios is most likely outdated and incorrect.

also once you get into the game, you have to uncheck frame generation and re check it on when ever you travel to the main hub or another world. thats just a current bug with the game so you get rid of the nasty frame tearing issues.

Yes, and I have a beastly PC rig. I will not go into my settings and change CPU and GPU configurations because they cant be bothered to optimize their game properly to a basic level of it simply running from start without crashing. I lowered all my settings to High from Ultra and enabled Vsync to 60 and it still is crashing.

I suggest not playing this game until they resolve a lot of basic issues. Your PC is more valuable than this game, lots of other options for games out there.

4090, 128gb RAM, Intel i9-13900k, 2TB SSD

Sounds like you haven't set up your beastly pc properly.

I like the game a lot but it gets a low score for optimization

Like underclocking my CPU and downloading third party software so I can play this one new game when everything else runs smooth as silk? No thanks.

Id rather be patient, give them time to hotfix their issues and if this game is decent and lasts longer than a month. I'll play it then.

If a game is optimized well, you shouldn't have to underclock/overclock CPU/GPU's on current gen hardware.

i7 9700k - RTX 3080 - 16 GB ram - SSD and Game burning. CPU and GPU 70 degrees. Its not normal. 40-50 degrees good. Need fix !!!!

XTU its a intel app, but all you said its real, if i have a high end pc why i have to downgrade it to play? optimize better your games ...

You don't, have your bios upto date, have your cooling sorted and ensure your pc is healthy.

If an issue is not affecting the majority of people, not a minority on forums, chances are high it is a local issue.

Had no issues on my main rig 4090 (stock or oc'd) / 13900k running stock and had no issues during test phases with my htpc which has a 3050 8GB and a 13400, I'll go install it on it now and see if it has any issues, but, I suspect it won't.

As an update, I just updated my BIOS for my MSI Z790 CARBON WIFI motherboard to the most recent non-beta version (7D89v1B), My 4090 graphics drivers as well as Intel drivers are up to date, same with Windows 11. 128GB RAM, 2TB SSD.

Players shouldnt have to underclock their CPU's to play a game.

Still crashing at shader compile. This game is just not properly optimized. Hopefully they hotfix this asap because judging by these forum posts its a common issue.

Edit: i9-13900k CPU
