Unlock the settings menu.
The title says it all. I would like to be able to manage my graphics settings but I can't, instead I'm locked to low settings.

at the moment of this reply I have checked everywhere but I can't change my graphics settings in any screen.

Post a steam screenshot of your graphics settings menu in the game.

Also make sure you ain't using your integrated gpu, put your monitor into the gpu slot, not on your motherboard slot.

and yes I am playing the game in all the right conditions. The screenshot I took at the beginning screen before pressing start.

I also tried after pressing start and while playing the game. I've tried capping the frames to all of the options, and clicking all the buttons.

Are you on an apu/igpu unit by any chance? As in you don't have a dedicated graphics card?

I'm playing on a gaming laptop, one that I have been using for some time to play god knows how many games. Many of them are newer releases. I will try disabling the integrated gpu even though it sounds jank.

Disabling changed nothing, and I also tried forcing windows to use my Nvidia graphics card manually but the situation is unchanged.

If you're using a laptop, make sure you have mgpu, not integrated gpu in use. If you only have a integrated gpu, then you can't do anything about it, you will play only on low settings, unless you fool the game to think that you're not using a integrated gpu.

Game requirements are for desktop pcs, not for laptops. Laptops cost more and are equally as much weaker than a pc, especially if you just have an integrated gpu.

That's the thing, I am using a dedicated gpu, which is not a great one, but it was able to get 60 fps on some rather heavy games released recently.
